Hi,
We will be at Disney from 12/16-12/24/03. What should the weather be like? What type of clothes would you pack?
Thanks, Sharon

According to the "Unoffical Guide" the average high temperature in December is 73. The average low is 51 and December is tied for the month with the lowest number of rainy days.

We are going in December for two weeks. For our four kids we are packing four warm weather outfits and two for cooler weather. (We are in a DVC unit so we have a washer and dryer). We went last year after Christmas and stayed through New Year's. On one day we were swimming. On the next we were bundled up after a front moved through.

Be prepared for both cold AND warm.

We've gone the first or second week of December the past 5 years.

In 1998, 1999 & 2001, the weather was perfect - high 70's/low 80's, no rain, just a little cool at night.

In 2000, the first day was nice, the rest of the week was low 60's and down into the 40's at night. It was very cold after dark. Didn't wear shorts after the first day. No rain. Then the next week they had record highs...:(

2002 was a mix, some warm days, some cool. On the day we arrived, it was only in the low 50's in the afternoon. We had one day near 80. We had one day with steady hard rain, never stopped for about 24 hours straight.

Let's hope our 2003 trip has great weather! So far accuweather is predicting 82 and 79 and sunny for our first 2 days, but I know that cannot be trusted (but I can't resist peeking! :p ;) )

www.weather.com has 80 degrees for the first two days. ( I have 32830 bookmarked  ) Hoping...hoping...hoping for good weather!!!! My kids really want to hit BB after watching the WDW video!

Do you have room for your entire closet? ;)

Seriously, it could be cold and rainy, or hot and sunny. You really do have to pack a little bit of everything, including a jacket, hat and gloves.

Unless you're staying in a DVC resort room, find out where the laundry facilities are at your hotel and pack a handful of those laundry detergent tablets to save a few bucks.

www.weather.com just changed their long term forecast. The beginning of December has dropped to the low 70's. I definitely liked the 80's forcast better. ;) Oh, well, we still have some time for a warming trend!:sunny:
