Hey guys,

So I see a lot of questions about the weather in December. Upon waking up this morning, it felt a lot like Disney in December. Today, in the Northeast, is a solid comparison to the weather you will experience on a mild day in December. Usually, it is around 50 when you wake up, may hit low 70s by the afternoon, then drop back down at night.

Some days, it can get up to mid-to-high 70s, and some days it does not even break the 70s.

Thought this may be useful for those wondering what it feels like. :santa:

Agree on average. The thing about Florida in the winter is you never know for sure what you will get. For example, in 2007 we went to Florida and the evening temps were in the upper 60's, day temps were mid 80's to 90. In 2010 we went the same week, and the day we arrived was hi 75, that night it turned cold (record cold actually), and the entire rest of the week we had highs in the mid 50's at the warmest and lows in the 30's, wind chills in the teens. We moved to Tampa in 2011, and the first Christmas we were swimming on Christmas Day, with day temps in the upper 70's. Last year went back and forth, but mostly December was fine, though this past winter in Feb we were in Orlando and in shorts & tanks, one month later in March we were wearing sweatshirts and jackets, as temps dipped back to highs in upper 50's for a couple days.

This is true. The first year I went, I believe it was 2010, it was freezing. I am not sure if the temp even went over 70 degrees. We skipped 2011, and went again in 2012. Last year, it was gorgeous. We had maybe 2 days that was cold, which resulted in freezing nights. Otherwise, it was gorgeous out Christmas Eve/Day, and New Years was really nice.
