Weather Help From Locals

We arrive this Saturday and the first few days of our trip it is expected to be around 30 Deg C. My daughter and I don't do well in the heat we live in the Highlands in Victoria Australia where it is cold more often than not. We have our days planned to be up early and hit rope drop, tour till about 1:30 then back to our hotel for afternoon pool time, returning to the parks about 5pm. Can locals please tell me at this time of year when it is likely to reach that 30 deg. Will it be cool till lunchtime or does it get hot earlier than that and about what time in the afternoon/evening does it start to cool down. Just want to be prepared so that we can have an idea of what to expect.

Our weather is so wacky! It will feel warm starting around 9 or 10am, but it won’t get to peak temps until about 12-4pm.

Your plan sounds good! It will cool off dramatically in the evening! Once the sun goes down the temps will drop rapidly, so around 7-8pm.

I'm not sure about Victoria Highlands and humidity, but one thing to remember is that So Cal is a 'dry desert-y' climate with naturally low humidity. In other words, it's a 'dry heat'. DL at 86F degrees and 40-50% humidity is pretty tolerable if you drink plenty and try to stay in the shade as much as possible. WDW at 86 degrees and 70-80% humidity is pretty awful, even in the shade.

If you Google "Anaheim Weather", Google has a nice graph for each day over the next week showing expected temperatures throughout the day. Saturday you should be fine, but Sunday and Monday the temperatures are projected to rise earlier in the day and stay warm later.

Thanks for the input. That's what I was hoping to hear. Only a couple of days to go. Just got to pass our pre flight Covid test on Friday and we will be off. Fingers crossed we will get away.🤞 pooh:

Thanks for the reply. Where we are we have very low humidity and its pretty darn chilly. We sometimes get snow in Winter. We used to live in Melbourne where again there was low humidity but the temperatures could get over 40 deg C in summer. We feel okay out and about until about 28-30 but over that and we wilt pretty quickly. We are such wimps. Anyway I think with our early entry plan and pool time we should be okay. Thanks again.:thanks:

Thanks for that. You know I am such a ninny. Whenever I google the weather I usually skip over that graph thing and go straight to a weather app. I have been ignoring it for years and now I see it is really useful. Who knew right. :rotfl2:
