We have a trip planned the second week of June. We have never gone this late before. I think that it is in the middle of the rainy season. Any experiences at this time of year?

It's gonna be hot (and humid) and most days it will probably rain/storm for a short period between 3-5pm. Take advantage of cooler morning temps and plan to spend time indoors in the afternoon. We really enjoy the evening EMH's after it cools down a little.

For us Floridian's June is still tolerable, especially early June. Our schools this year are letting out June 6th so we are going up for a family reunion from Jun 6 - Jun 13. Yes, it will be hot but not as miserable as July, Aug & Sep. Last year we went in August for a few days and did mostly waterparks and Disney Quest and it rained only one afternoon out of the 5 days.

It's hard to tell the weather forecast anymore, if we have another dry summer, it may not rain at all.

The best part of early to mid June is that it's still not too crowded!

Have a great time, I don't know about you but I can hardly wait.

We love our June vacations. It does get hot and humid, but we go back to the resort for a break or a swim in the middle of the day and wait to go back to the parks until later afternoon. Often, we take advantage of EMH. I think you'll really enjoy it as long as you know what to expect and take a poncho. The storms normally don't last all that long

We almost always go in early to mid June. We expect it to be hot and humid and expect for the showers to come. On days that it doesn't rain, well that's just icing on our Disney cake! We also get in the parks early and take a break mid-day and then hit the parks again at night. We carry our ponchos and don't let the rainshowers bother us too much. This past June, one of those "afternoon showers" turned into an all-nighter. I wish we had realized that possibility and didn't just assume that it would stop. It is beginning to get crowded by then, but certainly is manageable.

I went the third week of June a couple of years ago. It was hot - 90's but we only had a couple quick rains.

Some of our best WDW experiences have been being at the parks just after a minor rainfall i June. The lines are very short. I think once we rode Buzz 5 times in a row. Have fun!

Yep, I read your post and thought IT'S HOT!!!! AND STICKY!!! Not as bad as August, but icky all the same. But hey, you're in the happiest place on earth, who cares!!!!!! :dance3: Have fun, bring your water fan!

We absolutely avoid WDW from June through September due to the weather.

Hot as noted and usually no relief at night. Rain can be a mixed bag. We have been that time of year when there was a drought and you get essentially no rain. We have been during its "usual" pattern and you get 2 to 4 daily thunderstorms, with downpours lasting about 20 to 40 minutes each, mostly occurring afternoon and evening and you risk losing Fantasmic for the day. Then we have been when it rained about 16 hours of every 24 hour day for more than a week because there a stalled weather system just sittiing over most of Florida. We have seen all three of the above weather patterns in the last 5 years.
