Weather and crowds during March

Hello All-

I may be making a trip to Orlando in March and was wondering what the weather is like and the crowds. The dates will be around 3/13-3/18 give or take a few days as I am not yet decided on the dates of the trip.

I have been to WDW in May and December and preferred the weather in May due to less rain but don't know much more than that. I am from California and a Disneyland veteran just to give you some back ground on me.

I am a huge chicken of hurricanes as I have never experienced any real weather being from the sunny California state. So I would prefer to avoid this type of season all together.

This trip will just be me and DD21.

It will be more crowded the later it gets in March due to Easter and Spring Breaks.

The second week of March is traditionally one of the busier spring break weeks, so the crowds will be large, but not as big as they'll be the week before and after Easter. If you have any flexibility, go the first week of March -- it's a huge difference in crowds.

March typically doesn't have a lot of rain -- definitely much less than in the summer. We've been a couple of times in March and had no rain at all for 10 days. The weather is usually warm without being hot, but there can be occasional cool or cold days, so bring clothes for warm and cool weather.

I was there during that time last year and it was crazy busy. Weather was gorgeous though.
I was at Epcot one day, Spaceship Earth had a 65 min wait..

Thanks for the info. I can't make much change to the dates as I have a conference I may be going to. Not for sure yet but if I do go ill extend my stay in Orlando a few days before or after the conference which is March 18-21.
