I've read your "AK thread" and we've stayed there as well and love it

But we have a quick trip planned to see the F&G show so an Epcot resort would be handy. The S/D is one of the options available. Did it seem like a "convention" hotel to you? Obviously only 2 legged "animals" out the windows but otherwise how would you compare the two?

Is the convenience of the S/D worth not staying in a "Mickey" hotel?

....my heart will always belong to AKL, but that FANTASTIC price (Teachers' Rate) and that AWESOME location is hard to pass up.....I really didn't find the Dolphin 'convention-y' at all.....we also stayed at the CSR, which is another convention location, but that wasn't too crowded either....JMHO!
