My DH and I are at WDW right now. The other night we were at te Poly hanging out by the lagoon waiting fo Wishes to start, we thought we'd get a great show, how right we were! :flower: There was another couple standing beside us waiting fo the show as well when a young lady came up and asked if we were there to watch the fireworks, we said yes and she asked if we wanted to watch them from a boat!!!! At first we were a bit wary, but then she said that someone had paid for a cruise($300) and then at the last minute( 10 minutes before show) cancelled! The boat was there all stocked and ready to go and they didn't want it to go to waste, :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc So we said yes and went on the best boat tour of our life. Seeing the fireworks from the lagoon was awesome and then she took us to see the Electric water parade, another winner. Needless to say we gave our boat driver a great tip and couldn't stop saying thank you, we will be talking about this experience forever! All of our time here at the parks has been great so far, and that was just the topper, can't wait to go to Epcot tommorow :earboy2: :goodvibes :Pinkbounc :cheer2: :bounce: :earsboy:

AWESOME!!! Congrats! Lucky you! Glad you were in the right place at the right time. :flower:

Now, that is one heavy dose of pixie dust.

my wife and I were sitting at the boat launch (poly)that nite to watch the fireworks-we could have used a lift!!

But not half as good as that...

When we came out of the Hoop Dee Doo - the kids saw the horse and carriage rides leaving and wanted to go on one........I went over to the window and asked if we could go one one and they were all booked for the night! The lady at the window barely spoke English (understatement) I went back to the kids and told them we were out of luck and they all did a big awwwwwww!
Just then a lady who had been leaning on the fence asked if we wanted a wagon ride and I said sure. I had not even noticed that just on the other side of the fence was a beautiful horse and wagon. We paid for the ride (not as much pixie dust as you) which was about $30 for our whole family. We were the only family on the whole ride. The driver said that almost never happens (she had some people booked, but they didn't show up) and that to book a private wagon ride is $300. Our wagon arrived at the water just as the parade was going by and we stopped to watch it. We also gave a huge tip and had a great time. Not quite a boat ride for fireworks - but still a little pixie dust.
