We went to Poteet today!!!

We just got back from the Strawberry festival. It was really neat, hasn't changed a bit since dh and I went when we were dating. They even still had helicopter rides for $15 a person.
I, of course, had to have some strawberry shortcake!! It was so perfect!! Even better than a Dole Whip!!!There were lots of folks selling all sorts of yummy treats along the road. The weather was perfect. I love this time of year in San Antonio. I can't believe we live here!!

yummm - DH's work helps promote it and the festival people brought me a flat of strawberries 2 weeks ago. They were so good. Of course I still have tons frozen!

Well, It was a great festival!! I'm looking forward to next year's festival!!
Oh, and i bought the cutest Fiesta colored wreath to put on my door!! That was my souvenir, along with the sunburn!!

I also love SA!! I think it's simply the best city in the country.
