We wants the Redhead! Pics from MNSSHP 10/6

Sorry it took so long to post these! We had a great Columbus Day weekend at MNSSHP. My dd was a pirate. My girlfriend was her version of the Queen of hearts, and her daughter was Alice. I made the "Redhead" costume from POTC and we had a blast. Alot of people chanted "We wants the redhead" and we all laughed so much. A CM at POTC even said to me "I didnt say you could leave the ride, now get back in there!" I told him I was on my coffee break! The weather was great, and it was so much fun to be at WDW with so many people in costumes. We especially loved the parade, the float from the Haunted Mansion with the "shovel" dance was so neat. Don't want to spoil it for anyone who wasnt there yet. Have a great Halloween!

Thanks everyone! We really did have a great time. My dd is already talking about which costume she is wearing next year. Have so many great pictures with the characters too. The Queen of hearts was hysterical, she was pretending to cut everyones head off if they didnt bow to her. The mad hatter was really funny too.

Thanks for the compliment about the costume. Disney doesn't make a "Redhead" costume so i kind of winged it. Bought some red satin fabric and cut out around a shirt i had, then just made and easy skirt with elastic. The vest was fun, i got to use a hammer and put in a bunch of grommets! The other families at MNSSHP made it so special for us, alot of people were complimenting eachothers costumes. We saw so many cute kids and parents dressed up. Its the only place I can still get away with wearing a costume!

The ghost was actually added on when they were printing out the pictures. They had a little trouble with it when they were printing out ours, as the ghost driver kept "jumping" off the the front of the hearse and down to the ground. the CM was getting a little frustrated because after awhile she had 2 ghosts in the picture. luckily it came out fine afterwards. The Haunted Mansion is my favorite ride and I was so glad to get that pic of my dd and I.
