Hi, :sunny:

Can anyone tell me the best way to go from GF after the Electrical Water parade and the fireworks back to BC? Will the monorail still be going to Epcot? We could walk from there or take a boat from there, but I don't know if the monorail will be running then? I have heard it takes a long time to go to DTD and then to BC, so maybe we should cab it from GF. What do you think? thanks

You could take the monorail to MK then hop a bus back to BC. Going through DTD takes forever. If you take the monorail to Epcot the Turnstiles probably are closed & then you can't get through to the hotels. at MK you can get off the monorail & head straight for the buses. Of course you will be in the crowd of the park emptying out unless they stay open later for EMH or a special event.

The monorail is supposed to run for one hour after the parks close. But I wouldn't try the monorail approach, because a) EPCOT will possibly be closed by that time, and b) even if you got in to EPCOT, there is a TON of walking to get back to the IG exit from the monorail stop at EPCOT, then even more walking to get over to BC.

I'd just take the monorail, or a boat from GF, to MK, then catch the first BC bus you can from MK. At least that way you avoid having to go to the TTC, and it's only one monorail stop from GF, or a fairly quick boat ride away.

The crowds and wait times could be significant, but I can't think of a faster way without driving yourself.

thanks - I hadn't even thought about EMH in regards to MK closing. that will be perfect because the nite we are going to GF is the first nite of MNSSHP - so we will miss the non-guests leaving and the MNSSHP guests will still be there - so it will be a perfect time to catch a bus from there!!! God I love these boards!!!

Thanks - I hadn't thought of the walking from the IG back to Epcot. How far is it to the boat back to the BC, do you know? I was planning to take the boat from Epcot on the nites we were too tired to walk the whole way.
