We want to add on at BCV - can you recommend a good guide?

We are interested in adding on 100 pts at BCV this week. The guide we used for our original BWV contract was just so-so. We did the whole thing over the phone sight unseen and she never followed up with us once our contract was completed so I do not feel like I have a relationship with her. We thought this would be a good time to find a new guide ... any suggestions ? I am assuming it is OK that I call and ask for a different guide to do the add on... am I correct ?

Another question ... is VWL sold out for add ons of this size ?

Some use years at VWL are sold out, but remaining points are still available as add-ons to existing members.

My guide was/is Bettie Pleasant and I can highly recommend her, but I think that many overrate the importance of their "relationship" with a vacation guide. We bought our original contract with her in '93 and have done 6 add-ons since. SOme of the add-ons were done at HH and even though we worked with a guide at HH- who was also very helpful- Bettie got credit for the sale.

Bettie's name is on much of the DVC correspondence we receive and she still occasionally leaves a "Welcome Home" message on our room phone when we're at OKW, but I wouldn't be disappointed if we didn't hear from her either.

Changing guides is easy to do. Just request a change when you call the sales office for information. 1-800-800-9100.

My guide is Michelle McAllister, and she is just wonderful! Michelle has a super personality, is always fun to talk to, and is so professional and informed. When we first bought and could not decide between Old Key West and Boardwalk, she offered different suggestions and gave a lot of insight into our wants and needs at that time. Since then, she has continued to help any way possible. She is never too busy to return calls promptly, and I just can't say enough good things about her. I highly recommend her.
