We told the kids about the trip!

We weren't going to tell the kids about WDW until we left my SIL's house in NC and turned south--but I figured with all the Christmas stuff I have to do I don't want to have to pack for a Disney trip for 5 people!!!! So we told them today so they can pack for themselves. We go to NC on the 26th and leave very early on the 29th to head for one night at the Dolphin, then the Contemporary tower.
The girls were beside themselves with joy--DD#2 was almost in tears--they were jumping up and down--good to see DD#1, at age 11, isn't jaded YET. DS was even excited and now they are looking at our Contemporary monorail accessory and asking "where is our room going to be?" I wish I knew!
We pulled off a good one!

Oh that's so exciting!! We love surprising our kids like that too..in fact they don't even know that they are going to be at the MVMCP next Friday night !! Ssssh!

Wonderful! Mine dont know about our upcoming trip in Feb either, nor do they know that we rebooked a cruise while onboard our Halloween cruise! So they will be tickled when they learn! Have fun!
