I haven't been since August 06. That was the first time we used the new Magic Your Way tickets. And I remember being able to do DisneyQuest AND Typhoon Lagoon everyday.

Well reading UG has be confused now. Saying we only only have 7 credits for TL, DQ, and PI with our 9 day MYW Tickets???? I'm so confused.

yeah, apparently now, when you get the water park and more option you get a certain number of credits according to how many days on your park ticket you purchased. So, Instead of being able to "hop" to different locations in one night and only have it use up that one day, each time you swipe your card for entry somewhere it takes up another credit. At least that's how I understand it. This is our first year having this option. Maybe Cheri can help explain better.

It's funny you mention that. I almost said something when I noticed you were going to TL *almost* every day on your itinerary. I had heard that in 2008 there were 9 credits for 9 days, 8 credits for 8 days, and so on. Meaning, it's better than it used to be. I don't think it's ever been possible to use both TL AND DisneyQuest EVERY DAY using your Water Park fun & more option.

I'll have to research that thing I heard about how many credits you get with each ticket. I could have sworn they changed it so you get one credit per day of your ticket.

you can park hop as much as you want. It's just the option that limits you to so many "entries" to each of the water parks and Disney Quest. Each time you visit any of the locations it counts as 1 entry, even if you visit all 3 in one day. If you want to go into the clubs at PI, that counts as ANOTHER entry. (you can leave and come back to the same place on a single day with a wrist band and only be charged 1 entry but that's just for that PLACE alone)

EXAMPLE:

You go to Typhoon Lagoon in the morning - 1 credit (or "entry")
You leave for lunch (I think you'll need a wrist band if you want to come back)
You go back to Typhoon Lagoon with your wrist band(not charged again)
You see it's crowded so you head over to BB - 1 credit

You head to DisneyQuest in the early evening - 1 credit

You go to PI clubs later that night (you'll have to see someone to get a wristband that will get you into all the clubs) - 1 credit

So not that you would do all of that, but it's just purely for example. Technically, you could use up to 4 credits in one day. If you skipped BB and PI in that example, you'd use up 2 credits.

good. I should reiterate...you're only allowed 9 for your whole trip....not necessarily limited to ONE per DAY, but you are limited by that total.

I found this on Allears to confirm:

For the WPF&M admissions:
1) You get a set number of admissions to the minor parks that mirrors the length of your MYW ticket in most cases. You will get two admissions with a 1 or 2 day ticket, and on all other MYW tickets you will get the same number of admissions as the number of theme park days on your ticket. Example: a 5 day ticket has 5 admissions, a 7 day has 7 and a 10 day has 10.

At least that's an improvement from what it used to be (3 credits on a 4 or 5 day MYW, 5 credits on a 6 or 7 day MYW, and so on)
