I want free tickets to somewhere?? Last year DH and I took a bump on US Air from Phoenix to Honolulu so we got 2 free vouchers, transferrable to anywhere in the U.S. that they flew. I decided I was going to use them to go to my parents house over Thansgiving. Don't you know, that even though there were empty seats on the flight I was looking at that they weren't going to do it! I fought and got angry, cried and I ended up getting a good flight. Why give me free tickets when you're going to limit my flights SO much. Ticks me off.
Looking forward to reading about food. Hey, that's a good way to not get arm fat. READING about food instead of eating it.:rotfl: :rotfl:

Bendy...

Just bring little bottles of wine...

3 oz or under...

in a zip lock bag...

You'll be fine on ANY flight...

Oh..

And bring cookies...

Planky likes cookies... :thumbsup2

Ya know ... we have some perfectly sized sample bottles of single malt scotch that someone sent us two months ago. Perhaps we'll have to crack one open on the plane.

Planky will have to wait until WDW for cookies ... we don't usually do cookies in our house. But I will share my breakfast croissant with him. :thumbsup2

I think you should go ahead and sue them. You can set the precident for the rest of us in any type of similar situation, and goodness knows we're time goes missing everyday! :rotfl:

I'll let you know what happens with AA when I get back ... hopefully all will go smoothly. :goodvibes

I can't wait for your reviews

Thanks - I hope they'll be worth the wait!

I so hear you on that. I can't help giggling when people post the whole don't bother responding if you don't agree with me bits. Because most message board posters respond to that kind of statement in the manner requested. :rolleyes1

I've never understood that mentality on a message board ... it's an open forum. If those folks are looking for unthinking agreement on all things posted they should probably look for a Dictator-in-Training Forum somewhere and start posting there. :rotfl2:

What is totally awful about it too is that we have a bagillion frequent flyer points with them and their flights are perpetually blocked out now except for stand-by. Their service sucks when I have a confirmed ressie. Do they really think I'm stupid enough to subject myself to stand-by stupidity?

I have a friend who has struggled with AA for years to use her frequent flyer miles ... it's ridiculous that they do that to their customers but sadly it's not surprising. I love Southwest's program ... it's so flexible and easy to use. Unfortunately I don't fly much for work any longer so I don't wrack up the free flights like I used to. :sad2:

My brother just "won" two tickets on American to anywhere they fly in the lower 48...it took him 3 days and several date changes to get those tickets to Orlando... I could walk faster to MCO than it will take for him to get there on the flights they had open...

BUT...

It IS my nephews first time at Disney so... :goodvibes

Congrats to your brother - that's awesome! :cool1:

omg!:rotfl2: i think i should dump the family trip and join you! i have a DH and DS that HATE to eat :confused3 needless to say they don't have arm flab flying everytime they lift a fork to their mouths - but i doooooo  so i shall live vicariously through you as this would be more my kind of disney adventure

i'm here for the duration! wait i need to grab the popcorn! popcorn::

Hi there and welcome to the arm-flab wiggling madness! :goodvibes Glad you've joined the fun and I'll try to make it worth your while!

Hello! That totally sucks about your freebies ... why do the airlines have to be so ... so ... I can't think of a word to describe them that isn't profane ... :lmao:

Anyway, glad you've decided to join the craziness that is a food review from my hubby and me! Hope you enjoy it! :goodvibes

:lmao: I'll speak with you in private, you bounder! ;)

Are you getting excited, Brenda? One more week! :cool1:

I am currently in "shut down" mode; you know where you realize how much you have to do right before the trip, so you sit down with a cup of coffee and just Dis. The cat is even grumpy because I forgot to get him some more canned cat food (spoiled). Oh, and my mom is having a yard sale Friday that I am helping get together. I am so ready for the Mouse!

You just know when I saw the thread, I took it as a challenge. I'm sure you probably saw me respond in kind. "I don't care what you want, I'm posting ANYWAY." That was just an opportunity I couldn't pass up. ;)

Hi there and welcome to the arm-flab wiggling madness! :goodvibes Glad you've joined the fun and I'll try to make it worth your while!

Brenda, when I was college, we used to say that arm flab was the sign of a true woman - the more it jiggles the more of a woman you are! :yay:

Just found your report- I am so excited to read another one of your excellent adventures in dining!!!! Have a great trip!

I haven't read all the pages yet, but I count me in. I love Brenda's food reports! Of course, most places you go, Brenda, I have yet to try. But, the kids are getting older and on our next trip (sadly not in the planning stages yet) I hope to try out some of the nicer places.:thumbsup2

I'm more excited now that all my management meetings are finished for the week - it's been a very long couple of days. I'm working from home tomorrow so that will help me relax a bit.

I would have been disappointed if you'd done anything less. ;)

Thanks LiteBrite ... I am apparently all woman, then! :rotfl2:

How am I the last to know about this Pre-food report?!? :confused3

I am disgruntled....

You're not the last to know ... there have to be tons of people who don't know yet, especially because I didn't post anything about it on the old thread yet. I was trying to finish up one last blog update and then I was going to direct everyone over here. I just got busy with that stupid work thing. :rolleyes1

Thanks for stopping by - I hope you enjoy this next food report! Don't feel like you have to read all the in-between if you don't want to. I'll post links to the "important stuff" on the first page of this thread. :thumbsup2

(only 3 more working days - if you don't work over the weekend. ;) )

Happy Packing! :goodvibes

We'll see you soon!

Hi Michelle!

Not long now! I will have to work a little at the house this weekend but I don't mind ... I'm officially on mental coast at this point. :rotfl2:

Looking forward to seeing you and Steve on the 15th!

Well...ok then!

That makes perfect sense.

Happy packing!

Brenda; in the understatement of the year, we are not having a good week...(2 researchers and 4 new specialists for DD alone:rolleyes1 ) and quite frankly, right now I'm wishing I was skinny enough to hide in your luggage (trust me, not even my arm flab would fit...)
Anyway!
Could you possibly pretty pretty please enjoy a slushy (love the Grand Marnier, but hey, not picky) for me? And when you get home describe it in incredibly graphic detail? With pics? God, I wish I was having one of those right now- but a good descriptive mental image is almost as good:goodvibes

ok, weirdly enough...I googled the phrase in your title to see to what it was referring, and the result google came up with???

This THREAD!

Weird.

So, apparently you are on Google.

that's strange ... it's another Simpson's quote (what else, right?).

ever see the episode where Bart gets sent to fat camp? at the very end the guy who runs the camp takes Homer back with him and discovers that Homer is eating a cheeseburger in the car. They have this protracted argument about the burger, which the health nut wants to eat and Homer won't share ...

The guy says at one point, "I smelled it; it has to be eaten!"

Jay and I have just always thought it was funny and it seemed like a good title for a food review thread.

Later in the same episode the guy says to Homer (in an effort to get the burger), "I'm driving ... I'll kill us both!"

To which Homer replies (with his mouth full of burger), "Fine! I'd rather die!"

:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

such a great episode. :lmao:

Poor thing ... I'm sorry to hear you've had such a rough week.

I would be honored to have a slushy for you and promise to take extra good pictures of it. As for graphic ... I'm pretty sure we can take care of that for you, too. ;)

That's a good one! I figured it had to involve Homer in some way. LOL

Of course, I went back and googled my own threads, and, yup, you guessed it, I am not feelin' the love from google. Actually, for privacy sake I'm glad of that.
Still thinking that was weird that your brand spanking new thread showed up!
