We purchased yesterday. When can we book

We purchased yesterday. They are sending the paperwork this week. We are interested in going to AKV next August. Our Sales Rep said our points would be awarded December 1, 2008.

When can we book our points. Do we have to wait until December?

As soon as you are in the DVC system you may make a reservation. Usually, with a purchase thru DVC directly, you would be in the system immediately after making the downpayment. You can reserve 11 months ahead, even if your points will come on December 1. It sounds as though you are buying a contract for a unit at AKV Kidani - so you can make reservations at AKV for any date after May 1, 2009. You can also make reservations for other resorts for dates after April 12.

I'd go ahead an call MS (hopefully your guide has given you the phone number - of not call the sales office - 1-800-800-9100 - and ask ).

We just bought into DVC also. We got a bonus 225 points to use at Saratoga in the next year., since Kidani won't be ready till May. We have a use year starting Dec 1,2008 too. We already made our reservations to go to SSR in Feb. You can make a reservation right away. Call 1-800-********. (not sure why that number isn't showing up)

What is 1-800-800-9100? I called the above number 3 times today and I know that is the correct number. I just want to see if this other number 9100 goes to reservation straight or not.

Great. We are planning to go in August of 2009. I think I will book this weekend. I will call the sales office and get the MS number so we can book. We weren't a big fan of SSR so i think we are going to rent out our 160 Developer Points and user our contract points to stay at AKV
