We just heard today that we pass our ROFR. :bounce:

We are buying a 170 point BWV contract, February UY, $73/pt. We submitted to Disney on 5/28, so only 2 weeks.

Now to just muster the patience to make it through closing....:hyper:

Also want to say thanks to all the great people on this board, this is only my second post because I could search down all the information my brain could handle on this board. Now, hopefully I can start answering some questions for others.

My DW, DD, and DS can not wait to come home (probably in late January).:jumping1:

Congratulations and Welcome Home :)

And welcome to our little community on the DIS!

Congrats, and Welcome Home!

BWV is our home away from home too!

:smooth:

Congratulations!!!

Our papers went in on 6-1-04. I checked with closing agency today, no word yet from Disney.

From the picture under your user name I assume you are also a pilot, correct?

how did you find the BMV ? I called disney the other day and they told me they have one left . So I said ok, lets do it. the next day she told me someone bought 25 pts from the 150 contract and i couldnt get it. So now i have to go with the brand new one.

Thanks for all the welcome homes, I can not wait to get them at WDW.

av8tor, I am a pilot, as I guess you are as well. I flew out of Palwaukee in North Chicago (don't get me started on Meigs) now a small strip (1D2) in suburban Detroit.

offtheice, I went through resale with The Timeshare Store, sponsor of this board. I called them and told them what I was looking for, and about 2 days later, they had a listing that I liked. The agent was Kristie, who was great, but this board was the best resource. The best advice I see is to buy where you want to stay, if SSR is the place go through Disney (there is really no other option right now), if you want BWV, go through resale (there are 5 or 6 listed at The Timeshare Store now).

Good luck!
