I suppose that it is about time that I wrap this report up!
When I last left off we had just finished our yummy lunch at LeCellier. Our pass for the Kim Possible mission led us to Italy. The assignment we were given was to go to Japan. This was a little annoying since we had passed Japan on the way to Italy. On most days this wouldn't have bothered me, but today was hot! The mission was really fun. When we finished we asked Erin if she wanted to do another, but she was ready to go to DTD for some shopping. We had kept the kids out of the shops for the most part to eliminate the "I want thats" all week. She was ready to spend some money!
On the way out we decided we would use our fast passes from earlier in the day when Test Track went down. Erin and I took forever! By the time we got back to Stu and Ava, Stu was pretty much having a melt down. He decided he wasn't willing to wait that long to go again, so we headed out.
For some reason I thought there would be a direct bus to DTD from Epcot, but there wasn't. We decided to take the bus to Port Orleans French Quarter and we would switch buses there. We quickly arrived at POFQ and sat down to wait. While I was waiting I pulled my phone out to check a message. This will come into play later.
When we arrived at DTD we went to check out the Christmas store first because I love to get ornaments when I travel. Next stop was the pin store so the girls could each choose a pin. After they made their difficult decision we decided to head to the World of Disney. I couldn't believe how busy it was in there. We ran out of time to shop before our dinner reservation and I couldn't find Stu. I went to get my phone out of my bag so I could call him and it wasn't there. I was pretty much in a panic. I finally found Stu and he was talking on his phone. He had tried to call me and someone at POFQ answered. Thankfully someone had turned in my phone, but we would have to go back to get it.
We headed to our dinner at Fultons. We had a nice time, but if I was to go again I think it would be better as a date night meal. The girls enjoyed their dinners, but Stu and I would have liked the opportunity to linger over our dinner.
After dinner we headed back to World of Disney to finish our shopping. We were all getting tired and crabby and we still needed to get my phone. We decided that Stu would go back to get it and the girls and I would take our bags and ourselves back to POP. It was absolute chaos at the bus stop. Thankfully a kind gentleman from South Carolina took the girls and I under his wing. He helped us with our packages and helped me hold on to Ava. He was a life saver.
By the time the girls and I got back to POP Stu was already there! He ended up taking a taxi from POFQ because he didn't want to deal with the hassle of getting back with the bus system.
We headed up to our room to get the girls to bed. We were scheduled to be picked up by Magic Express at 4:45 am! We finished up our packing and hit the sheets ourselves. In the morning (or the middle of the night if you ask me) we headed down to the bus. We were on our way to the airport on time and we quickly arrived at our terminal. Thankfully security was once again a piece of cake. We boarded on time and we were back in Minneapolis a few hours later. Ava insisted that we were still in Florida when we landed because she slept through the whole flight! I wish it worked that way.
The weather back in Minnesota was cold and rainy and it really suited my mood. I was pretty sad wondering when we will be able to go back again. It was definitely a trip of a lifetime with my favorite people in the world.
