That's my Ava, such a lady! I sure hope the weather holds out for you guys to be able to at least get out of Minnesota!

How are things, Heidi?! I miss seeing you here on the DIS!! :goodvibes

The last month has been a bummer, but I am starting to come around. My goal is to get this report done because I hate to leave things unfinished. Thanks so much for thinking of me!

Our last day arrived and our plan was to spend the day at Epcot and finish up our trip with a visit to DTD. We let the girls wake up on their own this morning and we were still out the door by 7:30. It was great that they are such early risers for this trip because we were able to make rope drop EVERY morning, but it is a bit of a pain in every day life!

We arrived at Epcot and made our way to the turnstyles. When we were let in we made our way to the rope and we were right up front. When we went on Tuesday it was EMH, so the characters didn't come out. This morning we were pleasantly surprised when the characters made their way out.

We saw Minnie:

It was a fun way to start the morning.

Our first mission this morning was to do Test Track. Erin was not about to let us forget that she missed out on riding it again on Tuesday night. Erin and I went on first after getting our rider swap pass. We got on and made it through the first two testing areas when the ride stopped. We sat for a while and then they decided to evacuate the ride! The lights came on and a CM went from car to car to guide people out. I thought it was interesting to walk through the ride and see everything with the lights on, but Erin was not impressed! The poor kid was starting to the think that she was never going to get to ride Test Track again. They gave us each a FP to try again later.

We made our way to Universe of Energy with Ellen Degeneres. I don't know why, but Stu and I are very entertained by this show. When we finished we went to get our pass for Kim Possible. Our assignment time was during our lunch ADR, but the CM said it was OK to show up when we were done with lunch.

We decided to see if Living with the Land was running since we missed out on it on Tuesday. We were in luck and we walked right on. This is another ride that I don't necessarily know why, but I love it.

We decided we had time for one more ride before lunch and it ended up being Figment. The girls really enjoyed this one.

Next up was our lunch at LeCellier! Our ADR was the first of the day, so we heard the staff sing O Canada prior to being seated. Our server was Courtney from Toronto. She explained what we could get with the meal plan here and advised us we could get smoothies for our drinks. Stu and Erin decided that sounded good. For our meals I had the mushroom filet. It was awesome! It was so good that I asked Stu if it would be tacky for me to lick by plate clean. He thought it wouldn't be in good taste, but he did let the gentleman next to us know that if he wasn't going to finish his filet I would be more than happy to! Erin decided she wanted to have the kids steak and green beans. I think she was getting sick of the limited kids choices. Ava was content with having noodles and Stu had the prime rib sandwich. The girls loved the make your own sundaes for dessert.

Here are some pictures taken in Canada:

To be continued: The rest of our Epcot day and DTD

I love, love, love Le Cellier!!!

And I totally know what you mean about the mushroom fillet!!! And I don't even *like* mushrooms!!! Go figure! That fillet is the only time I will eat mushrooms - and I love every minute of it!:rotfl:

I'm so sorry to hear that! I hope everything is ok!!

LOVED your update!! How cool that the characters came out to greet you at rope drop! And Le Cellier--I'm sooo looking forward to eating there in May!! Glad you liked it!!

Your girls are so adorable in the Canada pics! What a great character greeting at Epcot - I loved the Test Track vehicle in the background with wheels.

I hope everyone in your family is well. Rope drop looks like alot of fun but I doubt we will ever make one we are always out late at evening emh. Do your girls ever take a bad picture? They are so cute and look so happy. Waiting for more of the story.
Happy holidays!

I love how your DH told the table next to you that you'd finish their fillet if they weren't going to! :rotfl: Hilarious!

The characters coming out was so exciting. It is amazing how many times that we saw these particular characters and the girls were just as excited as they were the first time they saw them.

I hope that you love Le Cellier too!

The Canada gardens were so beautiful. Definitely a great spot for pictures. It was fun to be at the rope so the kids could actually reach out and touch the characters.

It is funny that you say that you will never make a rope drop and I question if we will ever make it to an evening EMH! These two are most certainly early birds. I don't think that Erin has taken a bad picture a day in her life. Ava is not as cooperative for pictures, but when she decides that she is in the mood she is adorable. Happy Holiday to you as well!

I love how your DH told the table next to you that you'd finish their fillet if they weren't going to! :rotfl: Hilarious!

It was even funnier because I think he thought Stu was serious! He was definitely keeping one eye on me to see if I was going to make a move.

That's great you were able to get close enough at rope drop to see all the characters! I'm anxious to hear if Erin gets her ride on Test Track! Oh, and your lunch sounds soooo yummy! It's a huge priority for me to get an ADR there on our next trip!

Oh no, poor Erin not getting her ride on TT again but I'm with you how cool to see it in the light :thumbsup2

I'm glad you had a wonderful meal at Le Cellier :goodvibes

I hope you and your family had a very Merry Christmas, Heidi!! :santa:

The holidays didn't go quite as planned, but they turned out to be very nice. We ended up having 17 inches of snow from Thursday through Saturday. It was a good thing that the girls had so many new things to keep them occupied while we were home bound!

Great TR! Your girls are adorable! What a great trip you had!

Thank you so much!

It was so great to get up close with the characters on our last park day. The kids didn't expect to see them, so it was a fun surprise. I would highly recommend to mushroom filet-yum!

It was a pretty high drama moment for Erin. She was sure that she would never get to ride TT again in her life time.

I somehow missed your last update until now but it looks like it was a very beautiful day! We are eating at Le Cellier in May and I am really excited about it...definitely getting the mushroom filet!!! :thumbsup2
