Our last day arrived and our plan was to spend the day at Epcot and finish up our trip with a visit to DTD. We let the girls wake up on their own this morning and we were still out the door by 7:30. It was great that they are such early risers for this trip because we were able to make rope drop EVERY morning, but it is a bit of a pain in every day life!
We arrived at Epcot and made our way to the turnstyles. When we were let in we made our way to the rope and we were right up front. When we went on Tuesday it was EMH, so the characters didn't come out. This morning we were pleasantly surprised when the characters made their way out.
We saw Minnie:
Ava's new best friend Pluto:
Goofy:
Mickey:
and Donald:
It was a fun way to start the morning.
Our first mission this morning was to do Test Track. Erin was not about to let us forget that she missed out on riding it again on Tuesday night. Erin and I went on first after getting our rider swap pass. We got on and made it through the first two testing areas when the ride stopped. We sat for a while and then they decided to evacuate the ride! The lights came on and a CM went from car to car to guide people out. I thought it was interesting to walk through the ride and see everything with the lights on, but Erin was not impressed! The poor kid was starting to the think that she was never going to get to ride Test Track again. They gave us each a FP to try again later.
We made our way to Universe of Energy with Ellen Degeneres. I don't know why, but Stu and I are very entertained by this show. When we finished we went to get our pass for Kim Possible. Our assignment time was during our lunch ADR, but the CM said it was OK to show up when we were done with lunch.
We decided to see if Living with the Land was running since we missed out on it on Tuesday. We were in luck and we walked right on. This is another ride that I don't necessarily know why, but I love it.
We decided we had time for one more ride before lunch and it ended up being Figment. The girls really enjoyed this one.
Next up was our lunch at LeCellier! Our ADR was the first of the day, so we heard the staff sing O Canada prior to being seated. Our server was Courtney from Toronto. She explained what we could get with the meal plan here and advised us we could get smoothies for our drinks. Stu and Erin decided that sounded good. For our meals I had the mushroom filet. It was awesome! It was so good that I asked Stu if it would be tacky for me to lick by plate clean. He thought it wouldn't be in good taste, but he did let the gentleman next to us know that if he wasn't going to finish his filet I would be more than happy to! Erin decided she wanted to have the kids steak and green beans. I think she was getting sick of the limited kids choices. Ava was content with having noodles and Stu had the prime rib sandwich. The girls loved the make your own sundaes for dessert.
