Hi Everyone,

Usually I never have to post a situation like this. But our family and extended family suffering through some tough times with child custody issues. Most of it stems from the corrupt family of a non-caring dad and a bad judge.

I am in charge of this site for my aunt who is Colleen. Its all happening to her daughter and Colleen's granddaughter, Madison.

This is not some way to just get you to our site. We just want you to read our story and offer any advice or comments. If you can after reading this site, email to everyone in address book. The more who know the better.

That is a sad story. I feel really bad for both sides the mother, father and especially the child. I know if it was my kid being moved to another state I probably would do everything I could to keep that kid home too and the mother has been doing everything she could to support the child. The judge is a complete jerk he should be doing this legally.
May I ask why her husband isn't working now did he get hurt? Maybe with two salaries she can move back. Has she asked the father if she moved back home if she can have custody back. I will keep your family in my prayers.

Her husband is actually working now. He works for verizon as fiber optics person. We need to put that in the update. Her husband as been working for over a month now. At this point, madisons dad would probably be a problem even getting custody back even if they moved back. Right now they are fighting for custody and the relocation is seperate and not taken into account so much. But why should the dad who never cared about her up until now get what he wants? He didnt support her at all. Her mom, melissa and stepdad shouldnt have to pick up now to leave there good jobs because of a jerk. They offered to shared visitation and to take turns flying here back and forth. He is very stubborn.

You are completely right, but unfortunately you have a crappy judge. I would put an offer out there to the father to move back until this is settled. Maybe it can be taken care of over summer vacation. I know there is also some way of requesting another judge. Since he has received money from the grandfathers union she shouldn't have a problem. Hopefully her dh having a job will help out a bit.

I feel bad for your aunt, but I'm going to be honest with you. Judges don't like sites like the one that you are directing people too. While it is a free country, and people are allowed to protest a legal decree in a reasonable way, I work in the court system and none of my judges would be happy about this. And it would possibly influence their future decisions in the case.


The little girl's mom needs to find a better attorney and she needs to be proactive in her case. She needs to be the one calling the courthouse and finding out when her court dates are. She needs to be making sure that her attorney is fighting tooth an nail for custody of the child. That is the proper way to handle this case, not by blasting a judge, father, and paternal grandparents on a website.

Melissa has a judge and going through appeal process and doing everything they say. Court is just digging there feet and being stubborn. Like I said our forums will be great to ask my Aunt Colleen. Thanks All!

It is a heartbreaking story. I looked at"mr. party in his pants" 's myspace and it is a darn shame what that judge and what the attorney's have done. Those grandparents are definately pulling strings here. What a shame! Especially when dealing with a child's life.....

That makes me furious! What kind of people are those grandparents to take that child away from her mother? No wonder their son is as immature and irresponsible as he is. I cannot believe a judge would do something like that. My heart completely breaks for Melissa. I cannot imagine how she gets through every day.

Isnt is ridiculous. When you see his website, makes him at to look as a great father figure. Just some of the crap his friends posted on there and he let stay. His parents and him are just amazing. Everytime Madison goes home, she calls Melissa crying asking when she is going to come home again. Please keep checking the site for updates and post there if you would like!
