We need Blizzard Beach Advice, Please

My husband and I are not really water park people but we are taking my daughter and her friend next week as part of a trip to celebrate her 13th birthday.

Is there a place for us just to hang out on a chair and relax while the kids do the park?

Are there any shadded areas to sit?

Does anyone know if you can bring your own beach chairs?

There are many shaded areas at BB but if you are going in the morning get there early as these are the premium spots. If you go in mid-afternoon many people have left and it should be easy to get a shaded spot. More shade, really tropical, at Typhoon Lagoon but slides are better at BB beach.

When my DH and I go, we usually seek out the quiet, shaded "deck" area right along the lazy river. If I recall correctly, it's on the right-hand side of the park, near the snow cone trailer, not too far in to the park (if you see the kiddie area, you have gone too far). There are only 4 lounge chairs (and I think a regular chair or two )and it's off the main path. Great place to relax and read inbetween floating along the creek.

there was a little gazebo type circle through some trees and up against the lazy river (between the wave pool and river) it is to the right of the sneezing house in the river. it is not crowded here. (though you can not see the wave pool or anything else besides the river. anyway, DW never goes swimming because it is too cold. and she sat with a towel around here over her legs and jacket. All that snow around really made her feel cold. She sat and just did crossword puzzles. Did she have fun? No, but she was glad to let us have fun.
