We need a Bachelorette thread!

.....best part of the show? Calling her out on her 'duck face'....:rotfl2: :rotfl: :lmao:

I am surprised that she would "testdrive" Nick, since she probably really knew deep down that he wasn't the one. It seemed kind of obvious to me that she'd pick Josh.

....I didn't get that either...if anything, she should have invited CHRIS to the overnight date over Nick....:surfweb:

I haven't watched yet, but a couple of weeks ago, I went looking for spoilers (yeah ... I know ... I just couldn't wait). So the site I read had significant proof that Nick wasn't the one: a video (and yes, you can hear him on the audio) of him on the plane, leaving the Dominican Republic, and before takeoff, he's on the phone with someone and very clearly says 'it was like she changed her mind at the last minute'. He kept repeating that and saying 'I don't know. I don't know '. He also says that Josh is a control freak (and yes, calls him by name).

Then at one point, I assume the person on the other end asked if the Bachelor/ette ever changed their mind, because Nicks response was 'yes, once. They're married now and have a baby.' (Referring to Molly and Jason.). Someone mentioned (either in this thread or on the show -can't remember) about how Nick had almost studied the show and how to 'play the game'.

Just found it interesting, so thought I'd share.

I saw this some time ago, wish the audio was a bit clearer though:

It's 2014, ladies, I remember this conversation in the early 60s! :duck:

Yes, it is 2014, but IMHO, some things do not change. If what she did was for her own pleasure, with a man who was in love with her and wanted to marry her, knowing she was going to break up with him the next day...well, that is just wrong. I think what JP did to Claire was also wrong.

No matter how much society's morals change, I HOPE there will always be some of us that feel this way!

Maybe his performance in the fantasy suite was the clincher for making her decision. :lmao:

Okay, I get that Andi has to lie and manipulate for the show. It is ALWAYS that way, BUT, she did not have to be intimate with Nick the night before she was going to break up with him and get engaged to someone else. That, in my opinion, is "db" behavior. She knew Nick was crazy in love with her. Why did she hurt him that way??? :confused3 I don't have any respect for Andi. Yuk. :rolleyes2

I think that is just what the show is about. Only one gets chosen, everyone else gets left behind. You know that going into it so why on earth would you ever let yourself get that invested until you are chosen. I also think it was pretty obvious that she would choose Josh. They were both southerners, same religious background, similar interest. I think Nick shouldn't have been so surprised. I think he is either mentally unstable or just reading a script. It is a toss up on which one.

I did not think it was the night before. I thought there were days between the fantasy suite episode and the filming of the final rose.

....sooooo, she 'test drove' Nick....:scratchin wonder if she kicked the tires? popcorn::

I agree. She must have known by then who she was going to pick for her last rose. It is very scummy to sleep with Nick then. If you don't want to be called out for acting that way, then don't act that way.

Well, I know that I'll be tuning into The Batchelor in Paradise next Monday. popcorn::

And I hope they announce the new batchelor soon.....if it's not Chris the farmer I hope it's Chris Harrison. I say that every year. :rotfl2: But I mean it. He's single right?

Drew spoke last night - he was one of the final two with Desiree, right? I remember I liked him a lot. And I also saw Brooks! Thought he had gone into hiding!

Am I the only one who doesn't find Chris very attractive? I'm sure I'll watch if he is it, but I just don't see the draw there...plus where will they find 25 girls who will move to a farm in Iowa??? Talk about "being there for the wrong reasons!

Is that who was speaking? It's weird. I hardly remember him at all. Just as I can't remember who Des actually chose. :confused3

There will always be people who think this way, especially on the DIS.

But I doubt SERIOUSLY they would go on a reality show and swap slop with 25 men to find a husband. That already proves she doesn't 'THINK' that way. So why expect those kind of morals from her? She said over and over that her connection with Nick was about PASSION, and she acted on it. A DIS Mom wouldn't do it but Andi would.

No, there are women on this board who don't find him attractive, to each his own.

They found 25 girls who were willing to deal with a soccer player with a child in Miami, they'll find 25 girls who will be willing to move to a farm in Iowa.

Yeah, they didn't look like small time, struggling farmers either. :lmao: I think they make bank!

I didn't really find Chris that appealing, not my type. I liked the coach, Brian I think? I don't think any of hers would make great Bachelors.

I am SO glad that she chose Josh! Nick obviously needs some therapy. Major red flag during Hometown dates, when his mom talked about his major depression after the last break up. Then to talk about how he kept running their "private moments" through his mind... eww. Thanks Nick, now I have to try and keep those images out of my head! I'm pretty sure that wins as Bleachable Moment!!

Dumbest moment- when Nick and Andi were on their date and they kept saying how fun it was to go off-roading. Ummm, they were clearly on a road. A dirt road, but still a road. Off roading is when you go through brush and mud and dunes- you know, places where there are no roads. I'm surprised Andi considered that off roading, considering she is such a rough and tumble "southern girl."

Also, I thought it was odd that last night or at the Men Tell All they didn't even mention Eric. They made such a big deal of it at the beginning of the season, dedicated the season to him and not so much as a moment of silence. :confused3

Watching now. Josh seems very genuine. He's tearing up just before proposing. But is it me or is he wearing an ill-fitted suit?

:rotfl2: I noticed his suit too. His pants seemed too short and they were so tight around his calves.

I think we are forgetting a major factor in all of this and that is the producers and Chris H behind the scenes.. They clearly do not have any of the contestants best interests at heart at all and who knows what they said to her regarding the overnight dates etc.. That's just between you, no one will ever know what goes on or maybe they took the ratings reasoning, if you only do an overnight with one of the final two then if will be obvious what the last couple of episodes will be like etc....

When Chris H went on and on about how Nick reached out to him to be able to get in touch with Andi and then the letter etc I really lost a lot of respect for him. Clearly they pick the next contestant and then sort of leave them as bait strictly for ratings...
