Wait....there’s coaxial cables that don’t need to be threaded??? Why do they even still sell the threaded kind? Getting those things threaded is always a pain

The push on style coax connectors have been around a very long time. They make a poor connection at best on a good day.
 
They make a decent conection, prety much the same as the screw on type. Not for home use anymore, although they were the original ones. For campers and needing to conect to places that are used many times, its your best bet. People stopped using them and went to the screw type because they opened up and disconected with stress on them and age. Not because when conected they had a bad signal. There not good for permanent home installation. But for campers conecting to a bad connecter, you'll be happy to have them.
