We made it Disney without our kids! A June/July Trip Report!-COMPLETED!

So I've had an insane week! It was DD's last week of school, she had tball Monday and Tuesday, Wednesday she danced for the Jr. Diamond Dancers at the Milwaukee Brewer game, tonight she had her final dance recital at the YMCA! I have a friend coming into town tomorrow morning from Chicago for the Brewer game tomorrow night, so I wanted to get on here and post my binder quick, before I get back to cleaning and getting ready for the weekend. I likely, won't be back on here until Monday!

I worked really hard on putting the things into my binder that I have been thinking about lately! I previously posted the tabs that I have in there...now here are some pictures of what I filled it up with!

I know this cover says nothing about our trip, but I absolutely love the design...and I'm a die hard Brewer fan...and plus it's my cover!

The front pocket is holding a list of all the Disney restaraunts and where they are located...behind that is my "Daily Highlights" sheets for the days we are there! The first pocket is titled "Pre Trip", and sitting in it now is the voucher booklet for the resort, DxDP, mini golf, etc.

The next pocket is the "packing" pocket, but there is nothing in it!

This the "Flight Info" pocket. It was our flight itinerary, our ME luggage tags and the plastic Disney Luggage tags!

This is the "Transportation" pocket...and it's holding our ME coupon booklet!

This is the "Park Info" pocket. Right now it's holding my certificate for my Disney Gift Card (since we already have park tickets), I need to print out all the park hours and EMH's!

This is the "Schedule" pocket. It has our vacation itinerary in it!

This the "Contemporary Resort" pocket...my favorite It has our Reservation Confirmation, the Mousekeeping Envelopes I made, and the arcade card!

Okay, I lied, this is my favorite pocket! ADR's! This is holding our ADR schedule and reservation numbers (which I also entered into my Blackberry!). I also printed menu's to every restaraunt that we have ADR's at. So we can sit down and order right away...I don't like to waste time! It will give DH something to do on our flight

If you think I'm missing something, please let me know! I need to make a packing list...which I will probably do this weekend! I'm going to look for the one we used in October and try and go off of that one! Wish me luck, I will most likely need it

DH and I have been talking about taking a trip to Disney in December! He will be leaving for Iraq again in August and able to take vacation sometime in December! We have finally decided for sure we will be spending 5 nights and 6 days in Disney I am so pumped! This will be the kids first time staying on property and doing the Disney Dining! We will be staying at the CBR! Hopefully some discounts come out before I book in August! I'm going to start working on a tenative ADR schedule! When I was giving DH the prices and told him we would just do DDP...he told me...just figure in the price with DxDDP...I knew I married him for a reason I am so excited! Any suggestions as to "must do's" with kids????

Love your binder!

I might suggest since the binder is too large to take into the park with you each day that you print out another sheet with your ADR #'s on and take that with you each day.

You'll have a good idea by being there what you want to take the kids back to see in December. How exciting to be going there again this year.

I was going to write my ADR's on an index card and throw it in the purse I may never use I also programmed them all into my Blackberry, which I have on me at all times...it's an addiction I guess!

I always think I know what I want to see, and then I read about something new...it seems there is never enough time anyways to see everything!

First off, when is your bday? You have your bday certificate and you very humbly don't say which day is your bday. Mine is july 1 !!!

I'm also addicted to my blackberry, go to the zoo often with my daughter, and took a "mom & dad" only trip last year for the 4th of july weekend and it was AWESOME!!!!

Your trip report looks really good. We will be there with you for a few of those days but we probably wont run into each other cause our plans are totally different

I just added on the DDP (plus plan). I considered the deluxe, but with the price difference, and being an experienced DDP DiSer, I knew that it would just be waaaaaay too much food for us! ....gym membership or not!!

Hope you guys have a fantastic trip and I think you will LOVE the contemporary for an adult only trip! that's a great choice! if your feet start getting sore, just do what I did on my adult-only trip.....stop at every lounge you pass and have a drink! you'd be surprise at how fast your lil feetsies go numb!

Yay, I'm glad you found my report! My birthday is on the 1st too!!! I'll be 26 this year! I'm glad I'm not the only person addicted to her crackberry....sometimes it creeps me out that I can't put it down! We have a ton in common! To add to the list...I'm also a thrill ride junkie! Go to Great America a few times a year and dream about going to Cedar Point! You're soooo lucky! After paying our trip in full and thinking about how much time sitting down and eating is going to take up...I'm really starting to have 2nd thoughts about the DxDP...kind of wishing I would have stuck to the basic DDP. Oh well! I'll remember for our trip in December!

I found them on the DISigns board on here! There are tons of them! You just print them and cut them out and glue them together!

If I was going on a trip alone with DH, I wouldn't mind doing the Deluxe plan myself. Him and I can do A LOT without our DD!! Because I'm laid off, we are much more conscience of what we are spending. The Deluxe would've cost us $300 more in 5 days than the plus. I would like to have 1 table service and 2 counter service per day with 2 snacks and a resort mug. That would be perfect for us but the Deluxe wouldn't be worth it for us to do that....though not worrying about paying for anything and having it all pre-paid must be nice!! I think you will enjoy the deluxe plan and you guys should splurge a little!!

If you have any CS left on your departure day, let me know, we'll come get those KTTWCs

Oh I'm sure you'll find tons of stuff that you'll love!
I often wonder why there isn't a dining plan in between the DDP and the DxDP? For me, it seems like the DDP isn't enough, and the DxDP is too much! Can you do that with extra food credits? Because I will totally do that! You have a whole extra day! We're leaving early on Friday morning!!

you should consider going this summer if you like coasters!! CP doesn't hold a candle to disney IMO but for roller coasters, it can't be beat! If you do decided on a trip, let me know! i'll come be your personal tourguide! we'll go to CP and talk all things disney!

I was wondering where you were! I kept coming by your PTR and there were no updates I took like a month. First came a ME envelope with the yellow tags and little coupon book for that. And then weeks later came the travel package from Disney with the luggage tags and everything else! I only got it like 2 weeks ago maybe and I paid my trip off the beginning of May! Yours will probably come sooner though, because when I called they said even though I had paid off the trip, they don't mail anything until the 45 day mark...which I think you already passed? I found a packing list last time...I think on mouseforless.com? And I was going to kind of go off of that! I leave in like 11 days or something like that and haven't even started my packing list yet

Ugh...isn't that so annoying! Can I see your packing list so far? I suck at packing. And it's so weird to not pack for kids too. I feel like all I need is clothes and shower crap? I'm booking a trip in August for December...and well I can't even stand to think that I'm going to have to wait until the middle of October to get my stuff from Disney!

You can definitely have my packing list! I'm in the process of adding on to it and will probably finalize it during class tonight, so PM me your email address and I will email it to you. Do you have microsoft office 07? Mine is done in OneNote, if you don't have it then I will just turn it into a word document. My packing list is also kind of specific to me, like I need to remember my blue dress, etc etc but you can look at it
