We made it Disney without our kids! A June/July Trip Report!-COMPLETED!

You can definitely have my packing list! I'm in the process of adding on to it and will probably finalize it during class tonight, so PM me your email address and I will email it to you. Do you have microsoft office 07? Mine is done in OneNote, if you don't have it then I will just turn it into a word document. My packing list is also kind of specific to me, like I need to remember my blue dress, etc etc but you can look at it :)

Thank you! I'll have to go out and buy a blue dress so that it's specific to me :rotfl:

Let me just start off this post by saying I went to Target yesterday to buy myself a little notebook that I could shove into my purse to keep notes on food, things we see, things I want to make sure to see with the kids, etc. I strolled through the dollar section (which is right by the door), and got a ton of things for NEXT trip! :rotfl2:I did find myself a cute little Nemo notebook to throw in my purse...so that's while you'll see two in the picture!

I plan on doing a little "tinkerbell" gift for my kids each day we are there...and that's what these little things are for!

First is the little Nemo notebook and matching pens!

Same thing, but in Ariel!

They had a ton more Tinkerbell stuff than anything else. here is a sticker book, a journal, chapstick, Pens and sticky notes!

I realize I have a shopping issue...but I couldn't pass this stuff up! It seems like the Disney stuff always goes so fast...and it's sooo cheap!

We have a busy weekend AGAIN! Sometimes I hate the start of summer vacation! We have an annual family fish fry tomorrow at my aunt and uncles house, then Sunday is of course Father's Day. My brothers play baseball in the town we grew up in (my parents are still there), so we have a game of theirs on Sunday and then I'm sure we'll grill out for Father's Day! Then bright and early I have to head to the airport Monday morning to pick up DH! :cool1::woohoo::dance3::yay::cheer2::banana: I hope everyone has a great weekend!

OMG! :rotfl: I know I have better moves than that chick! However, that guy could easily be mistaken for my DH! :lmao:

I thought you'd get a kick out of that!! When I first saw that video, I replayed it like 4X!!! :rotfl2:

DH came running over trying to see why I was laughing so hard I was snorting!!! :lmao:

I'm really hoping that since our Dec trip is a few months off still, I'll be able to find a ton of cute stuff at Target! They get new stuff all the time, so keep your fingers crossed for me!

Hey Shelly!! How's your week ending so far?!? We have to get through this weekend and we're off to the motherland!! :cool1:

Sorry I been MIA. Just finished my paper that's due this week and been doing a lot of running around...plus you are finally getting some DH time :lovestruc.
IM me when you get around to it. We are dropping our car off today and getting some more errands done but I'll have my BB.

Things have been so hectic around here too! Everyday since DH has been home, someone has stopped by to visit! Nice, but annoying at the same time!!! I'll message you in a few minutes :thumbsup2

Can you guys believe yesterday? Holy Crap...I mean, we all knew Farrah Fawcett wasn't doing well...but still SO sad....and then Michael Jackson! What a shock! I know people have their opinions and differences regarding him...but like Farrah, he was far too young to die, still has a family/friends and was very talented! So many thoughts to both of their families  They were both favorites of mine growing up...and will ALWAYS have a place in my memories!

I haven't been on here for a few days, and i just realized that you should be back now or very soon! can't wait to hear how it goes, I hope you had an amazing time!

Okay, okay! We are back...we have been for almost a week :scared1: I'm just going to add my TR to this already existing PTR...because I'm lazy :lmao: I'm going to upload our pictures to photobucket and then run to the bank and I'll be back to post the beginning! Guess what I didn't do...take notes the ENTIRE time we were there! Infact, I carried my purse around the first for a few hours, and then never again!

so...where is it! how was the weather and the crowds? doable? Did you see Robin Hood anywhere? DBF loves robin hood and he is never around!

We didn't see Robin Hood! I've never seen him on any of my trips:confused3

I'm attempting right now to upload pictures to photobucket again! I tried a few days ago and it uploaded three and then froze! I'm going to start the report in word anyways...and just insert pictures before I post!

So we stayed at my brother's house the night before our flight left, so we didn't have to get the kids up early! We were ready and out the door by about 5:45 AM! We arrived at MKE around 6 and checked into our airline and checked our luggage without a single problem! Probably some sort of miracle for this girl! Our flight was set to leave at 7:30, so we headed for our concourse, went thru security and grabbed a bite to eat! We sat and sat and sat...finally they tell us we'll get an update in an HOUR! At this time it was 7 AM...so we wouldn't be taking off until 8 at the earliest! UGH! We were supposed to be landing at MCO at 11:07, now it would be noon! We had ADR's for 50's Prime Time for 3:00! Would we make it? 8:00 rolls around and there is another announcement that says the same thing...we would have an update in an hour! Now leaving MKE at 9:00! I got on the phone and called Disney Dining, because I was fairly confident we were never leaving Milwaukee, and cancelled our ADR :headache: Finally at 9:30 we were on the plane and ready to take off! What was holding us up? THE WEATER IN ORLANDO :scared1:
Here is DH taking a nap at the airport

We made it to MCO without any problems! Yippee! We followed the signs to ME and hopped in line! We waited about 5 minutes TOPS! What a wonderful service! We were on a bus combined with Wilderness Lodge, Poly, Grand Floridian and Contemporary! I'd say we reached our hotel about 45 minutes after leaving the airport...and we were the last hotel to get dropped off!

We got to the hotel and checked in...thinking it may not be ready yet! But to our surprise, our room was ready! YAY! We had reserved a Garden Wing room and were upgraded to a room in the tower, on Bay Lake side! But the very last room closest to Magic Kingdom! We were on the 11th floor! Now I had heard mixed reviews on this hotel...some saying it's not very "Disney", or the service is cold! We LOVED it! Now, it's probably not somewhere I would stay when going with my kids, but for DH and I, it was beyond perfect! The room was huge and beautiful and the view was breathtaking! I cant imagine how anyone could not like this hotel...

If you can't see from the pictures, it was rainy. But warm! This would have probably put a damper on plans if we had our little kids with us, but since we were alone...this was awesome! We threw on our poncho's and headed out to some not so crowded parks!

Up Next...Do we stick to our touring plans???

I also forgot to mention that we had the worlds best ME driver from the airport to the hotel! He had me laughing the entire time we were on the bus! He was cracking jokes and getting everyone on the bus involved with trivia and what not! It was a great time and made the bus ride go SUPER fast! I wish I could remember his name
