We made it! 7DMT & CRT

I'd booked CRT for a 8:20 breakfast to get us into MK early, then they changed opening from 9 to 8 at 30 days out. I tried for a month to change CRT - no joy.

This morning we RDed, rode 7DMT & made it to CRT at 8:18 with 3 kids in tow! We tested it out at RD on Wed to see how long it would take & knew we'd probably make it.

For anyone looking for the quickest route to 7DMT, line up at the turnstile furthest to the right, veer right beside the castle towards Cosmic Ray's - we got there way ahead of those who cut through the castle. We had fun just getting to the ride lol!

I'm curious though. When we had park open change to 8 AM, they still let the breakfast people in around 7:50. Could you have gone in with the early breakfast people and just hung out by the rope to Cosmic Ray's and had a bigger head start?

That's what I thought too, but the CM we asked (never had an ADR just after RD so we had no idea if they'd let us in early) told us to wait in the regular line.

I'd prepped for this. Our first day - Sun - we had a 8:05 H&V booked. Well they spontaneously decided to open the park an hour early. Called it 'magical.' I was not amused as I'd booked H&V specifically to get in early & couldn't cancel without penalty.

They wouldn't let us into DHS early either. We were almost run over by strollers & missed the TSMM advantage completely :/. I'm beginning to understand that Disney does whatever it wants & I'm the one who needs to have a plan B!

What time did you arrive? Is it possible the breakfast people had already been let in?

I know when we did this we arrived at around 7:30 and just got in the breakfast line without asking anyone. At 7:50 they just let everyone in that line in.
