My family is getting excited to do vinylmation during our trip once I showed them your family TR. My hubby has his eye on a specific muppet one and daughter is hoping for stitch. Needless to say, this will be a lot lighter than pin trading for me!

Yay!!! I love that so many people are trying this out it really is a lot of fun. You will have to tell me how your family enjoys it. I had my eye on a certain on this time. I didn't end up getting it but all the more reason to go back!!! My family was HUGE into pin trading but it just got to be so much to carry around Andy still does it and really enjoys it but I much prefer carrying one thing around.

Literally this was the loudest family I had ever heard in my life.

Seriously what makes people YELL at each other when they are in the rooms at Disney. I know the walls are thin but people are soooo obnoxiously loud there sometimes!

Glad you documented the sunscreen use!

Oh my gosh! My eyes turn bright red when I lack sleep too. Like ridiculous red.
I have a million pictures in Disney with my sunglasses on due to that fact!

Aahhhhhhhhhhh. I can’t believe how long it has been since I have last updated this!!! Life has been so crazy lately but I can officially say that I am a college graduate I will write a separate update on the things that have been happening lately in my life a little later on. What I can tell you is that I am back, I am alive and I am excited to get this thing back up and running!!!

So here we are Day 2 part 2!!! MAGIC

The Happiest Place Within The Happiest Place
March 5, 2012

After getting my butt whoopped by Andy in Midway Mania I needed so cheering up and what better place then MY FAVORITE PLACE ON ALL OF DISNEY PROPERTY!?! AHHHHHHH, I could just hear my favorite ghosts calling my name. I’m coming for you Sally Shine.

On our way through to my happiest place in the happiest place we passed a bakery that Andy and I were both eager to try, Sam (my little sister) and I have always been trying to place this on our mental Disney maps she knew exactly where it was I had a round about idea but could picture it specifically so I snapped a shot of it.

Starring Rolls Café: I’ll be back, baby. Sorry but there is no time to stop (not even for sweets) I was on a mission!!! We stopped in the Candy Cauldron store to see if they had our beloved Nemo/Dory cookies but alas they did not. Oh well onward no times to lose.

And then my eyes locked on the most beautiful structure I have ever seen (that might be a slight exaggeration but you get the idea). Perfect just a short walk away.

I couldn’t wait to ride and since the park was basically completely empty I ran in circles swerving and skipping as Andy kept a nice steady SLOW pace behind me. It was another one of those “OH MY GOD I’M REALLY HERE!!!” moments. I had a lot of those moments this trip.

We made our way through the 30-second line and found ourselves inside the most perfect hotel ever. Now some of you may or may not know I am IN LOVE with the Poly and it’s my dream to stay there one day, but I literally would give up the poly forever if I could spend the night in here.

Literally, the most perfect ride. I’m glad that on our first trip together I was able to talk Andy into going on it or else we would have had to either skip it or I would be riding alone this trip. He likes it, he doesn’t love it, but he will suffer through to make sure I go on it as many times it takes to get my fill. Now that’s love!!!

On my way out I traded my Vinylmation for the first time this trip. I was really lagging. But like I said day one was all about enjoying my surroundings and catching up with Bobby.

New Vinylmation, one that I got last August, but that’s what trading is for!!!

We scooped up some fast passes for Tower of Terror because there was NO WAY we were done with that yet

It’s a tradition that we do Rock N’ Rollercoaster right off the bat. Mainly because on our first trip together Andy was so afraid that he would get sick riding it we had to do it before we ate anything that day. Now it’s just kind of a thing.

We got in line and got the special red time keeper card. Andy was so excited, usually they hand them to Sam but since she wasn’t here it was his turn. Simple things.

If I remember correctly this was the ride where the girl in front of us lost it. Just broke down before we even made it into the recording session because she heard the safety spiel about it being a fast rollercoaster in the dark with loops. I felt bad mainly because her family wouldn’t let her get out of line. I would say she was about 17 or 18 and she was not happy about it. She ended up sitting behind us on the ride and she just kept screaming and crying that she was going to die. Even after she got off she was a puddle of mush and tears. It was terrifying and a little funny.

Once that experience was over we made a commemorative penny

So since we did Rn’R on a empty stomach it was time to hunt down some snacks!!! It was a beautiful sunny day as you can see from this photo

And I know of no better way to spend a sunny day then by eating Mickey Premium Bars!!! So the hunt began. That is until we got distracted by Vinylmation trading.

I actually really liked this one. It was very Alicia I love colors and rainbows. But I knew I didn’t want to keep it because it was only my second day of the trip.

We started back on the hunt for Mickey Bars holding hands and just loving life in Disney and then we got distracted… again.

The citizens of Hollywood were out and there is no way that you are going to pass by them!!! I would love to be a part of this improve troupe. They are perfect and they get to be in Disney and their costumes are the BEST (mainly because I should have been born in the glory days of Hollywood. Which is why I have such a huge spot in my heart for MGM)

These three are my favorite. The guy is new but he was SUPER funny. He was the male version of me. He was running around and doing crazy jumps and just being perfect.

This woman was also perfect. She came up to us and congratulated us on our engagement and talked with us for a good 5 mintues.

If you haven’t stopped and watched their show (which is different every time) you MUST. Sam took a video of them on her graduation trip a in 2010 and since then I have never not watched them.

This is the suave man who was the host of the show. He had the perfect radio broadcasting voice. I wish that they recorded their shows and sold like a soundtrack of them so I could listen to it’s hilariousness on repeat.

Their show ended and we had forgotten all about our Mickey Ice Cream because we had fastpasses burning a hole in our pockets for Midway Mania and I was determined to beat Andy this time!!!

It’s crazy to me that when you walk by at 10 or 11 am this is the distribution fastpass time

WHAT?!? Crazy.

So because we had fastpasses and we were a group of two we got to double cut the line which was AWESOME because the line was really long.

Our chariot arrived. HAM!! (said in a ponyo voice)

AND GUES WHAT!!! Scores were in and… I lost again I always start out so strong and I just loose it.

Whoa look at that line!!!

We deposited our glasses into the receptacle and were off once again!!! Where to now?

I have SO many of those blankets as well. But I couldn't pass it up, there hasn't been a night since I bought it that I haven't slept with it. It's basically like and adult baby blanket haha.​

So I decided to do a little life update because I have been gone for so long and SO MUCH has happened.

I’ll start with Little Women. When I was about half way through my first trip report I was going through the audition process at school and praying that I would be cast in the Spring production of Little Women. When I started the second one I had been cast and that was the main reason for falling so behind in the two reports was the rehearsal process/run of the show.

So here are just a few pictures from the production.

All those piano lessons (haha the two of them) really paid off!!!

Act Two:

That musical was THE BEST experience of my life. I met and made so many new friends. I literally just cried the entire last few days of the run. My family in the show got as close as real family. Ugh I miss it and them so much. I’m so glad that I got the experience.

Since it was the big “Gala” musical of the year they had a big happy party for the big spenders. These are the March Sisters all dresses up and pretty.

From there we move to the end of the year theatre banquet. It’s basically prom in college.

Fellow Diser Jess !!!

The we moved into Senior Week. The Theatre department did our own special celebrating by going to a classmate’s beach house. When we got there me and my friend Sean we like “Jess lives around here somewhere!!!”. Little did we know she lived right down the street and she was celebrating her birthday. She invited us over to have some DELICIOUS cake.

Her and Kristen we getting really excited for their upcoming trip.

Which brings me to graduation.

Of course I had to add a special Disney touch since I am moving there in August!!! I wanted to write I’m going to Disney World but I thought I might get in trouble for that so I stuck with a “hidden” mickey.

Holy cow have the past 4 years flown!!! I can hardly believe that it’s been that long.

That about wraps up my senior year of college. Moving to Disney in about 90 or so days!!! But honestly I just couldn’t wait that long to go back so…



I’M GOING TO DISNEY WORLD… AGAIN!!!

I could hardly believe it. I was just there in March and before that August but I NEED TO GO BACK and I just graduated so what better way to celebrate? We literally just booked everything yesterday and we will be going May 26th-30th. Just a short quick spontaneous trip thanks to my friend Bobby who got us AMAZING discounts for being a cast member.

So it will be Andy, myself, Sam and her best friend Brittany. Staying at the All Star Movies kind of winging it as we go. I can’t believe I am going back. AHHHHHH I am so grateful.

That’s it for life, as of right now. I am going to try to get another trip update in soon and before I know it I will have another trip report to write up. Hope everyone follows along with that one too!!!

The Hunt For A Mickey Bar Continues!!!
March 5, 2012

So after Andy beat me yet again at Toy Story Mania we decided that I needed a little pick me up and we continued our search from earlier for the beloved Mickey Premium Bar!!!

But, once again we got distracted. Apparently there are just so many things to do in Disney it’s hard to keep your eye on one specific prize, who would’ve guessed?!

This time it was: Photopass. Dun dun dun. I have never done photopass and I feel like it’s weird to go up to someone and be like take my picture!!! So I hesitantly approached the photographer. I knew that we weren’t going to get all that many good pictures with the two of us on this trip so I decided to man up.

We decided that it was so much fun that we would just go on a photopass photographer hunt!!!

This lead us back down toward my most favorite ride ever!!! Awww yea, lovin’ Disney.

While we were in this neck of the woods we decided to use our fast passes for RnR

Apparently I traded my Vinylmation somewhere in there because this photo is next in the order. I thought he was kind of cute and I LOVE argyle so I really liked him.

We had fastpasses for Tower of Terror from earlier that morning that we used and when we got off the ride I wanted to jump back in because there was no line but that’s because it was experiencing technical difficulties. BOOOOO

We decided it was time to grab some ice cream. FINALLY. Two ice creams of choice.

What a good choice on a nice sunny warm morning

Not my favorite but I guess still a good choice haha.

We walked back to Sunset Blvd. because our favorite people were coming back out for another show at 1:00 and we didn’t want to miss it!!! We sat down on a nice shady bench and waited for them to roll out. (note: my eye is slightly less red for 30 seconds haha)

This afternoons show was to be “Millionaire Match Maker” with host Eve Starlight.

They plucked out Jodi who was from Canada from the on lookers. Everyone kind of oooooed and ahhhhhed when she said she was from Canada. Andy and I looked at one another an laughed because apparently Canada is an exotic land to some when it’s a place we can literally walk to (I actually walked there the last week of school).

Like I said in my last post if you have never stopped to watch them perform you must!!! They are all hilarious.

After the show was over we ran to get some more fastpasses for Tower of Terror.

We had basically knocked out all of the major attractions and lunch was shortly so we decided that we would just stroll through the shops. Which is where it found this (what I call “grandpa” sweater) which I really wanted but never went back for. It’s the new line of “Team Mickey” gear and I literally wanted AL OF IT!!!

We picked up this Mickey antenna topper for my mother. When we were kids we had a family reunion type gathering where we all ran around in the rain wearing Mickey Mouse ponchos we refer to that trip as “the trip of the duck people”

I had to buy it as soon as I saw it. So many happy family Disney memories from my childhood <3

Ok Much time is over. I let Andy trade my Vinylmation and he was lucky enough to get this guy

Last trip Big Baby and now this?!? Maybe next trip I won’t let him trade it… haha just kidding.

I did an almost immediate trade after that because I was creeped out by him and ended up with this guy who I had gotten once or twice in August

We STILL had some time to pass before lunch so we wandered some more. Then I remembered I wanted to get a picture with the singing in the rain umbrella so we headed over to the streets of New York to do that sadly the water wasn’t working that day

We were suppose to meet up with Bobby for lunch but he texted me saying that he felt like he was hijacking out trip so he was going to let us have the afternoon alone together.

We were sad but decided to head over to lunch a little early.

I use to watch Little Women all the time when I was younger my and my sisters actually use to play it (like some people like to play house when their younger we played Little Women and Little House on the Prairie haha) all the time. I was always Meg so it was fun to get to be Beth for once. I have gain SO MUCH appreciation for it since the show though.​
