Our family of 4 (Myself, DH, DD12, DS9) spent 3 out of our 6 days @Epcot. I left each and every day so confused:confused3 remembering those post saying "that 1/2 day would be plenty for this park" or "that it was boring". This park had a little of everything for my family. Thrill rides, tame rides, hands on projects, multiple types of entertainment that covers a wide variety of interest.
I would just like to say to families- do not let the poor post reviews or the 10 year ago visit- a lot has changed!- keep you from giving this park a chance. It was GREAT!

I totally agree, I love Epcot and get very frustrated at the poor reviews. Both of girls love it too

I agree. I thought my 4 yr old would be bored. Her favorite thing was WORLD SHOWCASE! we had originally planned to visit each park.Instead everyday was spent either at Epcot or Mk and on MNSSHP night we did DhS.We skipped AK entirely.

My kids are 9 & 13 and have been going to Disney since they were both toddlers and EPCOT has always been our favorite park. One of my most favorite things to do is walk around World Showcase - it is my "happy spot" :) Glad you and your family enjoyed it! I still have a friend who won't take her kids (9 $10) because it's "too educational" :confused3

Our family loves EPCOT too - especially World Showcase! DD14 and I are shoppers, so we love to browse through the gift shops, DD17 loves to travel, and talks to all the foreign exchange CMs. Hubby likes beer, so you can guess what he does, LOL!

It's always been a favorite of ours, the girls really loved the water play areas and the Living Seas when they were little, and now Soarin' and Test Track are musts each trip. Hubby hasn't been on Soarin' yet, can't wait for him to try it!

My biggest regret from the school trip I chaperoned was that we only made it around to the France pavilion, pretty much skipping Canada and Great Britain, and the Mexico and Norway pavilion going the other direction. I wanted the 12 girls I had with me to go all the way around, but we ran out of time.

We've always loved Epcot too. I am often surprised by the folks who don't want to take their young children there for fear they will be bored. My boys have been to Epcot since the ages of 2 and 3, and both have LOVED it. As they get older, they enjoy it for different reasons, but it's really a great park.

We love EPCOT too! Especially my DS9...we haven't even fully explored the World Showcase yet...wait until he finds out about the Pokemon and Bakugan stuff in Japan!

Epcot is our family's favorite park too!:thumbsup2

My kids are 11,8 and 5. They were upset last September when "we only spent 4 days in Epcot" out of 10. They love everything about the park.

I'm glad you posted that.
we're going to WDW in May,and DS will be 5.
I was going to skip it and do just MK. But, my husband really wants to go, so I was kind of thinking we'd go - but more for him than me.
Now I'm looking forward to it more.

We love it too - all 5 of us - and always want to spend more than just one day there - so this trip coming up in a couple of weeks we'll be spending 2 days there.

Our family also loves Epcot. We have been to Epcot so many times and we do something different each time. Our last trip, in August, we participated in the Epcot Aqua Tour, which was a once in a life time experience. My step kids, 15yrs old boy & 16 yr old girl, loved doing this with their father. We also enjoyed standing in line, in an air condition building to get a picture wtih ALL of the characters at Epcot, we're going to do this again in October when we go back for Mickey's Halloween party, and again in December when we have my soon to be father-in-law with us, he is 80yrs old and LOVES DISNEY!

We can never get enough of Epcot. There is so much to see, do and eat there!

:goodvibes You summed it up Perfectly!!! We also LOVE Epcot! :lovestruc Priceless for DH & I this year was DDs first Fish & Chips from England & then walking over to Canada, sitting on the ground & soaking in Off Kilter!
