We leave tomorrow for our first WDW trip!

I'm so excited and wanted to thank everyone who posts on this site b/c it helped us make up our mind for hotels, groceries, rental cars etc.

We're a family of 5 (ds1 is 12, ds2 is 7 and dd is 5) and this is our very first time going to WDW!

Any last-minute helpful hints/tips would be appreciated! I'll sign-on before leaving in the morning!

Sorry, don't have any tips or suggestion since this year will be our first trip to WDW too! I just wanted to wish to Bon Voyage and have a fabulous trip! Wish it were me going *sigh*, guess I'll just have to wait.

In my opinion, remember you cannot do everything or even almost everything in one trip, unless you are staying for 3 or 4 weeks.

Take your time and enjoy! Find out what everyone wants to do the most and do those things first. Anything else is extra!

Dont get to tired. Take breaks, swim and drink lots of water.

Dinseyworld is larger than San Fransico!

im leaving in 15 days for mine!!! im very excited!!! thats awsome your staying at the Animal kingdom lodge wish i could talked my parents into that were staying at the wilderness lodge which will be Amazing so no complaints just glad to be going back!

Thanks Princess_Jessica! Wow 15 days to go!! Waiting is the hardest part. I hope we're still staying at AKL - they seem to be moving a lot of people with the construction but we haven't got any phone calls, hope we don't. I just know my kids will love AKL - they don't even know we're going at all - it's a total surprise. I'm just bursting to tell them but I have to keep biting my tongue. Ouch Have a great Disney vacation!

Thats very cool that your surprising your kids and im giving you props you havent burst yet i think my mom would have the minute she booked the Hotel! so your kids are going to be very happy when they find out!

but when are you gonna tell them? are you gonna just pack and in the car be like oh by the way were going to disney!! haha

Well, this is how we're going to do it. We have to fly from Victoria to Seattle and then from Seattle to Orlando. So . . . we've told the kids that mom has to go to Seattle for a conference and we thought it would be nice if we all went so that we can have a bit of a working vacation. When we get to Seattle we have to retrieve the bags and clear customs before putting them back on the plane for Orlando. I think they'll catch on then when they wonder why we aren't leaving the airport in Seattle. I'll try and have my camera ready when they figure it out. I think it will be priceless!
