I'm getting SOOO flippin excited now!! :dance3: We're leaving snowy Michigan next Thursday morning to head south. We will arrive at the Fort on Saturday and have ressies at Mickey's Backyard BBQ for Saturday night. Hopefully we will have an easy drive, weather wise, and it will go quickly. We pick up our camper on Friday to get it stocked and ready to go. Since this our first long-distance trip with the camper, and our first trip to Disney, there are a lot of exciting things we'll be experiencing!!

We've decided to not sleep in the Wal-Mart parking lots (THANK GOD) and will find rest areas instead for our sleeping times both night. I requested either loop 1300 or 1100 since they seemed to be closer to the pool, and not terribly far from the marina? Well at least as close as we could get since we aren't doing the cable TV sites. Who'll have time to watch TV?? :rotfl: Just had to share my excitement!!

:cool1: How exciting !! Any idea of where you want to stop along the way ?? I do have a suggestion for your second night...Oaks and Pines campground in Lake City, FL. All pull through sites, close to the freeway. By your second night you might like to have hook ups for showers, etc. This will only put you about 3 hours from the Fort, depending on traffic on I-75. http://www.oaks-n-pines.com/ :thumbsup2

I hope you have a great trip...I'm looking forward to hearing about your trip and checking out your pictures when you get back. Make sure you have someone take a family picture for you on the Trail's End porch for us :)

Yea!!! I'm so excited for you!!!! Mind if I live vicariously through you for a bit? You will love it! I can't wait to see pictures!!!!

PPix.......The 3rd pic in your sig..........man, is it me, or does she look JUST LIKE PIM from Phil Of The Future!!!!

Hey, I'm excited for you but also for me. We leave Louisiana on Monday 3-17-08 and arrive on Tuesday and we will be staying until 3-29-08. Hope to be in Loop 700 for my son's sake. If there are any other members of the board going to be there, look for me. I am in a Monaco Camelot MH. Hope to meet some of the folks who have given me advice and share a beverage with you.:woohoo:

Have a great time! We requested either loop 1100 or 1300, so we'll see what happens. We're in a Dutchman 26EH and have a green table and tan & green mat outside. Has anyone stayed in either of those loop before? Plus of course the requisite rope lighting! :rotfl:

We could stop and pick him up, but he's have to be strapped to the tonneau cover on the truck! :lmao: Think he'd mind?

We'll be down on Sunday Morning (Easter)! Leaving Friday morning, but are going to stay in St. Marys Ga for two nights and spend the day on Cumberland Island on Saturday. Have a good trip! :thumbsup2

We are heading out next Friday from Northeast Indiana and will arrive on Saturday. We are trying a new route this time. We are staying on I-65 into Alabama. Have heard good things about this route and Atlanta is getting to be too much so we will give it a try. We are staying in Troy, Alabama the first night.
