First it was thanksgiving, with house guests for 5 days and dinner to cook for 12. No problem, I had all this week to prepare for our trip....well work has been beyond crazy this week....we leave in 37 hours :cool1: and I haven't even started packing. My logical brain knows I have tonight and all day tomorrow so I have plenty of time, but part of me is starting to panic. I am a planner and always have stuff ready way ahead of time....I feel so unprepared....
deep breath, telling myself to relax and just enjoy.

Oh I am a big planner too so I understand your anxiety. Luckily you are going to Dland and if there happens to be anything big or small you've forgotten, you will likely be able to buy a reasonable replacement in the parks or in DTD. So relax, do the best you can to pack in the time you have left, and then let the good times roll. Have loads of fun.

I know how you feel, I like to pack ahead of time, but I always forget what I've packed and what's still left (even if I have a list), so now I try to stage things in piles and then pack at the end. Helps with my anxiety levels. I don't pack for my husband, he's been on his own once we had kids ;)

Have fun. Don't forget to pack your vacation mindset. I sometimes forget to unpack that until a few day's into the trip! :)

I'm in the same exact situation. We leave early Sunday and I haven't even started packing yet. As with you, this week has been incredibly busy. I had every intention to start packing earlier this week but things just came up.

I'm sure that I will forget something... which worries me.. hope I don't forget something overly important, haha.

I leave in 3 hours and I just got done packing. You all will be fine! If I forgot anything I'm sure we can find it in California! As long as I have my ID and credit card I'll survive.

I should say that I don't have any kids . . . probably makes a big difference!

I am packing right now, we leave Sunday morning Disneyland for a week then Disneyworld for a week:banana::woohoo: Have a great time everyone the weather looks like it's going to be great for next week:dance3:

How exciting! Ull be fine!! Remember, its a vacation! Don't forget to take a load off! Ask for help if u can! Have fun!!

Take 10 minutes and make a list.Clothes for warm days, cool nights, rain, footwear.Toiletries, medical, park necessities.Plane or car bag.Break it down and make piles......you can be done in 2 hrs. max

The first year we were married I let my husband pack his own bag.....he arrived at our destination with no extra pants. That mistake cost me $200:rolleyes1

Have fun everyone! Wish it was me!

Thanks all...15 hours and I'm done packing. Once her basketball practice is done DD 12 can get herself packed the. I can relax (sure...)
