There is a new balloon. It is a purple princess balloon and costs $8.00. They just got them on Wednesday.

The crowds were not bad at all. We had little wait and sometimes no waits on rides. We were able to ride a couple of the rides a second time without getting off. The restaurants were not that crowded either.

Also, Tinkerbell has had an attitude for the last couple of weeks and will not get in her dresser. We went to see her but she was not there. You can still wake her in the morning.

I just got back also. I agree, no lines anywhere, that is always a plus. I was at the Kingdom on Wednesday and Tink was in the drawer. It just takes a while for her to "appear".
The weather is still in the 90's and humid but with a few breaks it is bearable.

My parents were in WDW this week, they are coming home today. They have called me several times and said how hot and humid it was. They couldn't handle it, had to take many breaks at the hotel. But I know they still had a good time. We already have reservations to go in May-- will is be just as hot? I was thinking of maybe pushing up the trip to a cooler month. DH and I went with friends in March and it was perfect warm during the day and a little chilly in the am and pm. No lines and we only used FP once on our last day.

Tink is at Tinkerbell's Treasure's gift shop in fantasyland. There is a dresser and if you look in the key hole and wait you can see her.

I never looked in. My dd was looking in when a cm came over to ask if she finally got in. I had assumed she was there because my dd got excited but the cm looked in and waited for the flash and said she was not in there. The cm said she had not been in there most of the time. You must have gotten lucky.

We saw Tink in the drawer, she takes a very long time to appear each time. We were dodging rain so we were right near the dresser for a while. I swear if you blink you would miss her, she is a fast little fairy. LOL

Question for those just back....did you go to any EHMs? How did you find the crowds at them? Any strategy or suggestions? Many fastpasses machines operating - did you use them much?

We did the EMH at MGM on Sunday night. I did not think it was that much more crowded. We did not use the Fastpass machines. The waits for Rock n Roller coaster and Tower of Terror were 10-15 minutes. We waited about 5 minutes for the muppets. We did not really use the fastpasses much. The safari in Animal Kingdom needed a fastpass. We saw wait times as high as 70 minutes but it quickly went down to 40.

And if you want to be the one that wakes Tink, you need to get there early. The CM told us that a line forms early in the AM just to wake her.

My kids did get to see Tink in the dresser. It was the highlight of their day--we were there on Wednesday also.
