It was ....not so great. The crust was dry and tasteless, the sauce was lacking any seasoning, the toppings were just "ok". I'm glad it was only an introductory price of $5.99. We won't be going back. I feel bad for the guy that opened it. He was in there on the opening day, and I'm afraid if others feel like we did, he is going to go out of business after everyone has tried it-once.

How in the world did they win "Best Pizza" (or whatever it is) so many years in a row?

Do you like them? We thought it was on par with bad frozen pizza.

We have had Papa Murphy's before and it was OK. Not amazing but OK.

Really? We love Papa Murphy's. We like the Cowboy (pepperoni, italian sausage, mushrooms, black olives) and the 5 Meat Stuffed (canadian bacon, pepperoni, italian sausage, bacon, ground beef). The Herb Chicken Mediterranean deLITE (olive oil, garlic, mozzarella, spinach, grilled chicken, feta cheese) is pretty good too, for a "light" pizza. The cheesy bread is okay, too - DF likes it a lot more than I do.

Sorry to hear you didn't have a good experience. We usually do pizza about once a month, and we almost always go to Papa Murphy's instead of somewhere like Pizza Hut or Papa John's.

another one here that likes papa murphy

it's our favorite pizza locally, but not our favorite pizza, ever. :)

We enjoyed it when we had one close to us in Ohio. I will say that I bought one of the best pizza cutters I have every owned from there,

Our family enjoys it and that's normally where we get our pizza from... But it's deffinately not our favorite but our favorites a pizza ace is deffinately pizza factory there pizza's are
just amazing!

When we first moved back here, we used to go there for pizzas. Then they changed the sauce on us. We thought it was an emergency type thing. It wasn't. We haven't been back in three years. My kids loved going there, my in-laws loved the fact that we could buy the pizzas and cook them at home and eat hot pizza. It was a good value for the money. I still think the dessert pizza and the bread is great (salads too!) but we won't buy the pizzas anymore.

We love Papa Murphy's. We enjoy the Delite, very thin crust. Yum.

It started in my hometown. I should love it out of representing Hillsboro but I don't. It has nothing to do with the pizza either, as for me it's just an average pizza, but I don't want to cook my own pizza. If I do, I'll just get one from the grocery store or from Costco.

And locally, it's no where near being the best pizza.

We "like" them when the kids have a bunch of friends over because they are big. They are ok tasting, nothing great.

We love our Papa M's - the garlic sauce is super yummy. Love the deLite with chicken, bacon and artichoke hearts.

The stuffed pizza's are really good - our fav is an all meat with oilves and garlic sauce.

We like that we can order a family size and have it be in 4 sections with 4 different sets of toppings - the entire family is happy for under $15

I must b minority I love them and gave up frozen pizza for them. the cheesey bread is lacking IMO but that could be fixed fairly easily with a bag of shearded cheese.

Why spend $11-12 on a pizza to bake on your own when you can get a baked pizza ready to go at Pizza Hut or Papa johns for $10. The taste of all 3 are comparable, which isn't the greatest.

I think Papa John's crust and sauce are so much better than PMs. I think that a pizza oven over a home oven makes a huge difference, too.

I got a cheesy bread that was OK, but needed extra cheese as a PP stated. I also got the cinnamon pizza, but I overcooked it and it was not good after that. I might go in for those two, but no pizza for me.

Like a PP said it was started here in Oregon. I like it.. on occasion. We are not huge pizza eaters and will go there when the mood strikes. But it is not the worst pizza I have had. I personnally do not like Pizza Hut or Papa Johns

:goodvibes Same pizza faves here!
Mostly, we do Papa M's for cinnamon wheels. It's the staple kid treat for having friends over... even grandpa makes wheel runs
For the price, it beats reheating frozen pizzas. It's definately not something I would travel across town for but they are close by and perfect for sleepovers and kids!

All those "chain" pizza places taste the same--they are like frozen pizza compared to real pizza parlor pizza!
