We joined DVC!

Hi all:

We were just in the World about 10 days ago, and we finally decided to join DVC

I'm absolutely thrilled. BLT is our home resort I always felt that when Disney made DVC on the monorail line, we would not be able to resist. DS and DD(both 9) still spend most of the time in MK, plus we just took DS2 (10 months) on his first trip to WDW. Can't wait to plan our first trip Home

Thanks to everyone who posted info and updates about BLT - I was reading them shortly before we left for the World, and the info was so helpful.

We are so happy, and looking forward to visiting WDW even MORE often

Eeyorerocks!-We were also waiting for a DVC resort on the monorail line but ended up buying in earlier during a cruise in June 2007. Once we discovered exactly how the booking process works, we bought in at Saratoga Springs. Even though we don't own at BLT, we will have the luxury of staying there as well as any of the other DVC resorts. The 7 month window doesn't cause problems with us because we can travel during all of the "less popular" times of the season. Honestly, I've never had any problems finding availability anywhere during the 7 month window with the exception of a December vacation. This is quite impressive since we visit Disney World 6 times a year. I was able to easily get an 11 month reservation at my home resort, Saratoga Springs. This wasn't my resort of preference but at least I'll be in Disney World!!
