This must be the first time none of the food pics were at all appealing to me...but very glad up and Tom enjoyed everything!

I was so pleased to see the muesli snack! And it was really good too!

Well, we have seen better food than that, but at least they are catering at all. And I have to admit that the yoghurt and muesli was pretty good.
The bakery stuff was devine!

Now I really want to sneak another trip in!

Unfortunately DLRP does not have Mr. Toad's Wild Ride. Toad Hall is a restaurant that offers fish and chips. It is pretty neat inside and out though.

That is quite sad. At least there is food there. Food always helps to make a place "better"

And speaking of food... again you get the bEST airplane food!

So glad you arrived safe and sound... AND by 1pm!

Cant wait for more.....

Airplane food is still pretty okay here, but just wait for our summer trip report - we should have real yummy food in business class!

It was awesome to still have half a day left when we arrived at the hotel. And we had a busy afternoon.

Lufthansa still caters pretty well. There are still a few airlines that feed you nice things for free!
It was like I had just fallen asleep when the alarm rang, so I was really thankful for another half hour of sleep.

Linda, I had not, but googled and what I found looked awesome! We are planning on going back for a three day visit in January (nothing set in stone yet ) and we were planning on doing the NY again, but now I am no longer sure. THANKS a lot!

Ann, they never knew what Toad Hall was in the first place at DLRP. It has always been a restaurant.

I LOVED the muesli yoghurt! What a great breakfast option.

Disneyland Paris April 27 - May 1​

Day 1, April 27

Disney Magic at its best! - Part 2

We didn’t expect our villa to be ready when we parked our car as check in is after 4pm, but we at least wanted to check in. The guy at the front desk, checking us in was very nice and handed us the key to our villa. I could not believe it, but our villa was already ready. We were given directions and off we went to have a look at our vacation home.







Everything was looking good, so we got the suitcases from the car and after taking photos we started to unpack.





























I had planned for us to have lunch right around now, but since we had quite a few snacks all morning, we both were not hungry at all, so around 2pm we decided to drive over to the Auchan market to do some serious grocery shopping.
It took us about an hour and a half until we had done all the shopping and by that time we knew that our favourite boulangerie would be open, so once we had left Auchan we drove to the bakery and picked up a load of baguette and some sweet treats.
May I add that there was already some baguette missing when we were back in the car



and we had parked about 20 steps from the bakery. We drove back to the Adagio, found a space to park our car and hauled our shopping back to our villa. Once we had stored away everything it was finally time for our first French meal.

We are taking a shopping trip to Germany tomorrow. So it will definitely be a wonderful birthday weekend.

They are cute little villas in a fenced off community. It really is nice and peaceful to stay there.
I wish I could send you some of that baguette via the internet it is just SOOOO good! We have really good bread here, but nothing that lives up to those baguette and it is just a fraction of what we would pay for it here.
