So excited, 5 more days of school until a nice relaxing 5 days at DLRP!

Only 5 more days (not counting tonight ) - it's a bit surreal to think that in a week from today we will be at DLRP.

We are both so looking forward to this trip. At the moment the weather doesn't look all that nice, but there is still some time for it to change. And if it doesn't, who cares - we will be at one of our happy places!

Yes, Yuki, the Blue Lagoon restaurant is inside POTC! You are part of the show, so to say. It's fun to be there and it always reminds me of the Blue Bayou at DL!

DLRP: ...... only 6 more sleeps! Can't actually believe that we will be at DLRP in a week from today.



It will be awesome as this trip will be 4 nights/5 days .... a far longer trip than we usually have!

Summer vacation:
On Friday the booking window for our second cruise opened. So I was online at 5.50am (11.50pm EST) and got all ready to book. Right at 6am I went to the site and tried to score a Cabana and


YES!!!!!!!!!!!!! we were lucky again. This time we scored Cabana 20, that is the only one we have not been in on the adult beach!
I also booked another Remy lunch, Palo brunch and Palo dinner, as well as excursions in Grand Cayman, Costa Maya and Cozumel. I cannot wait to start planning once we are back from DLRP!

YES, only 6 more sleeps and we are on our way to DLRP.

I was SOOOOOOOOOO happy that we scored a Cabana for the second cruise as well. It was the one thing I was most after. It really adds to our enjoyment of CC to have somewhere to retreat and get out of the sun. (....... and the refridgerated towels are heavenly too! )

Rosie, the sun is different in August and it can get REALLY hot, yes! There are lots of umbrellas on both beaches, but the shade inside a wooden structure is much more comforting to my eyes than the one of an umbrella.
We also love to be able to change out of the wet swimsuits and into dry ones in the little built in changing room the cabana provides.

Ah, Cabana queen ....... sounds good to me.
I am just glad that we hit Platinum when we did, as all cabanas are gone for both cruises at the moment.

We booked some sightseeing excursions - bus tours to see the islands on one cruise and some tours to the ruins on the other one. I am not sure if we will keep all of them as I just need to check into our ports of call in more depth. Maybe we can do some things on our own.

I promise to take a lot of photos for you all. It will be so wonderful to for once have MORE time to enjoy it all. We usually go for two nights/3 days, but this time it's a four night, 5 day trip. Should be awesome not to have to rush around.
How's my girl Angelina doing? I cannot wait to see you all again in the summer. And we are so hoping to be able to go visit you as well.

Greetings from Disneyland Paris!​

​

We are enjoying our third day at Disneyland Paris at the moment. It's another beautiful day (despite the weather report which said that we would have miserable weather before we went).

Here are just a few impressions of Day 1 (will try to upload more tonight, but we had HUGE problems with PB not wanting to work with IE, had to switch to Chrome for it to work )























First day was awesome, especially since Disney threw a huge chunk of Pixie dust our way, when we renewed our APs. Instead of the usual 12 months we got 18 months of park entry. This will also cover our next year's week long summer visit.
Needless to say we needed to try out the new AP with some retail therapy , 20% off just needs to be used.
