We have staggered reservations - can we stagger DDP use?

We are renting a DVC studio and a 2 bedroom for 6 adults, 1 child and 2 infants. In order to save points, the studio will be rented from Sat - Fri, and the 2 bedroom from Sunday - Saturday. The people in the 2 bedroom will stay at a value the first night, and the people in the studio will sleep on the sofa in the 2 bedroom the last night. This seemed like a good idea at the time, since we would all have access to the studio the 1st night to dump our stuff (just taking overnight bags to the value), and change in for the pool, or take naps the next day until the larger unit is ready. We'd all be together at the DVC 2 bedroom on the last night, maybe a little squished in, but in "we're packing up to leave anyway" mode - this all seemed like the best way to use our DVC points for a 7 night stay at WDW.

But the DDP complicates things. 2 Adults will have the DDP from Sat - Fri, and the rest of us will have it from Sun - Sat. My question is: can the 2 adults in the studio use their DDP credits to pay for 6 Adult CS dinners on the first night? (The 2 bedroom credits would then be used for the studio people on Friday, the studio check-out day.) We're not trying to pull a fast one - by DVC rules we could have rented just the 2 bedroom for all of us and had access to everyone's credits Sat - Fri, which is exactly when we will use them. We added the studio because we wanted to spread out a little.)

I think I can probably explain this all to a human being at a CS restaurant, but will the computer system see this as unauthorized? Anyone know?

I don't think so. The two adults in the studio on Saturday night will be able to buy 2 adult meals, not six. Their key card is going to say 2 adults, and they are not going to be able to buy more than two meals at any meal.

I see what you are trying to do, but I don't think it will fly.

This is one of those situations where you are cutting things as fine as you can to save points, but the new DDP accounting system is probably going to prevent you from doing what you might have been able to do last year.
