We Have Returned

Today is another day. The weather people were saying 97 degree's for the day but looking outside it is very cloudy. Alex is a bit sore from yesterday but she is ready to go. We have to pick up our Club 33 package for dinner tonight at Guest Relations(I have always found that to be a strange name especially here at DLR.) So everyone is looking forward to that experience especially me since I met Walt many years ago. To bad he did not live longer to see his Club materialize.
The BBQ was excellent last night. I wandered into a building that had some of the original artwork for the park, now I have to find it again since I did not pay attention to its name.
I am going to take a bit more patio time later today just to sit back and relax a bit. We have not been taking our big afternoon breaks as we would usually do, so it is time to relax.
Thanks to all for reading my non-trip report. We did get 23 rides, shopping, and 1 show in even with the misadventures.

Wow! I'm impressed by how much you've still gotten done. Have you done the Fantasmic dessert seating yet or is that still to come? Are you going to have an opportunity to see WoC, or are you going to let that one go for now? Hope the rest of your trip goes smoothly and that you all get some balcony time.

Back for a break, had to take Alexandra over to emegent care to get two stitches in her ankle, another stroller nazi got her. She is the one with the RA. Security removed the family from the park and they will be getting an $1100 bill for just being agressive and really stupid. This happened to me in 2005, deja Vu????
Warmer today(90 at 1330) than yesterday and the crowds remained low until 1100 and then they started cranking up but still not as bad as last year.
We are going to try the BBQ tonight and see how that is. C.O. was excellent for lunch. Very snappy service and the food was excellent. The lead stopped by 3 times to see if we were doing OK. Everywhere we have gone the service to seem to have gone up a few notches.

We are doing F tomorrow night. Right now we are not going to go see WOC. No one here is overly enthused about it since we have a good partial view of it 3 times a night from the room. We will see.

So over the last few days we have experienced a number of breakdowns, IJ, BLAB,BTMRR,GZ,SOC,ToT and GRR. I have never seen that many while visiting. The crowds continue to be lower than expected(compared to last year) Other than the breakdowns nothing has gone on with the family. Had lunch at RFC and everything was good, service was on the spot. Only 19 rides so far today, maybe a couple after Club 33, we will see. Definately warmer today, but we used to the heat so it has not been an issue.

Hi Jack,

DD & I enjoyed Club33 on Saturday. I hope your family does, too. Are you having lunch or dinner? The seafood bar at lunch stole the show. Chilled lobster tails, jumbo shrimp and cracked crab claws along with homemade cocktail and some type of creamy white sauce were heavenly. The entrees were good, but played second fiddle.

Sorry about A and her injury. As a very close friend of a scooter rider in the parks, I know it goes both ways. Several guests cut in front of her and pay no respect or even acknowledge her. But some riders think they can cut in where ever whenever and are quite rude. Sounds like your stroller pusher was one of those.

I hope you all are enjoying the villa (how could you not?) and the rest of your trip is triple magical.

FWIW, it's supposed to cool down significantly starting tomorrow.

Was the place where you saw the original Disney artwork on Main Street? Don't they have some of that displayed in the new Disney Gallery there..where the bank used to be?

Can't wait to hear how Club 33 was....it's on my bucket list. Not sure how it will happen but one can always hope....look....it got you and your family there!

Seafood bar? Oh my....that sounds heavenly.

We are anxious to go in November as it will be our first trip home as DVC owners....we will be staying in a 1 bedroom. Love the GC and we have stayed there are last four trips.

Sorry to hear about all the bumps in this trip, but love the positive attitude. Really appreciate your posts - we're arriving on Saturday morning. I've read through all of Hydroguy's trip info and was thinking it's too bad I wouldn't have the benefit of reading about your experience before we arrive - but now I do!!! Looking for as much info as possible to help our WDW boys enjoy their 1st DL visit!

Back from and F and it was wonderful as per. They did a great job on Murphy. I love the Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln since I love history and this country so much. Park continues to be busy but not like last year. They had two medical emergencies that we saw today, both looked like heart attacks, old gomers like me. Tomorrow is my birthday and our last day in the parks with so much to do and not alot of time but we have all day
