Easy WDW have released their recommendations, so we've been able to put a plan toget (7 months today- squeak!).... Does this look ok?

Monday 18th August
Arrive in early evening. Check in, explore resort. Head to DTD if we feel like it.

Tuesday
DHS- hopefully get an ADR that includes the Fantasmic package.

Wednesday
MK- fingers crossed for ADR for dinner at BOG. If not, pop in for lunch.

Thursday
EPCOT- ADR at Akerhaus if we can get one

Friday
MK

Saturday
Animal Kingdom

Sunday
Maybe EPCOT, maybe a water park, maybe a bit of both

Monday morning
Maybe EPCOT, maybe DTD, maybe swimming at resort (can we use pool at resort after check out)... Then back to SSR to pick up DME

As we're only there one week, we are planning on parks every day. We had a week in NYC last summer, and did that commando style with no problems, so we're not too worried about that.

Any thoughts from you experts? :)

I'm no expert but it looks like a pretty good plan too me :) lots of MK time! Have you decided on your FPP+ or waiting until nearer the time :)

Hopefully you'll get all your ADR's you want too, when is your 180 day? Xxx

Not decided on FP+ yet- I think it'll take some negotiating with DH!

I think our 180 days out is 19th February (a month tomorrow!). Unfortunately, that's the day after we arrive in Iceland... so I'm not sure how much internet access I'll have! Fingers crossed it doesn't cause too many problems!

It looks fine to me. I cross checked against the Touringplans crowd calendar, since I don't follow easywdw, and it all looks sound. Honestly, with the crowd levels as they are that week that you are there, you can't really go wrong. Are you trying to avoid EMH parks?

Yes. If it was just me, I'd probably use the EMH, but I don't want to have to nag DH to be up and out early for the morning ones. We might hop over to parks with evening EMH, but I think the smaller crowds elsewhere will be more useful to us during the day.

This was our plan for the day after arrival.
We had to bin it at 4.30 as we were all delirious with tiredness :sad1:
Went back for Fantasmic a few days later

We did NYC last summer- were out of the hotel at 7am on first day, and didn't get back till 11pm without any problems, with lots of walking and attractions, so hoping we'll be ok!

Yeah, weirdly we weren't affected as badly in New York
Maybe it's something to do with the heat/humidity in Florida :scratchin

We'll bear that in mind then... we're currently only planning one day at DHS and that looks like our best day. I told DH your experience and he laughed and told me if I wanted to sleep through Fantasmic, that's fine! ;) I could see that actually happening!! (He gets by on about 5 hours sleep most nights and is fine!! He's a weird one!)
