We had the PERFECT WL Woods View Room!

Just back from a wonderful & magical Thanksgiving stay at the WL! The lodge was simply amazing, dressed up perfect for Christmas!! We booked a woods view, requested the North Wing and got the BEST room with a perfect view of Wishes from our balcony every night. We were in room 5030 and my parents were in 5028. You could see the Contemporary and the Castle from our balcony! IMHO, you can't get much better than this as far as a woods view goes, we were high enough to see Wishes clearly every night and right by the elevator that took you right next to Roaring Fork. I'd be glad to answer any questions! I'm ready to go back!!

Did you have a bunk bed room? Do you know how I can find out which rooms are BB rooms and their location? I am glad you had a nice trip. I would love to snag a room where I could see wishes every night from the balcony!

We stayed right next door in 5026 back in August, and I do agree that it was awesome! I am sure your stay was better because you probably didn't have the bugs we did from being above the otter pond in the summer. It was very convenient room to Roaring Fork and the laundry room too! Glad you had a great stay!!

Our room was not a bunk bed room (would have been nice, but we didn't pay the extra money for the BB's). On our ressie I put "North Wing, 5th floor, overlooking Otter Pond and MK." And got that EXACTLY! I loved being right next to the elevators, it was convenient to go down and get coffee and a bite to eat in the morning! Not sure where the BB rooms are located.

We stayed in room 5042 which is a std room above the smoke house. We could see the comp. monorail and wishes fireworks. The castle was a little far away to really see.

We stayed in 4030 and loved it. Initially, I was worried about elevator noise but there was none. But, there was some early a.m. loading dock noise - trucks beep-beeping as they backed in. Just an FYI, if you are sensitive to that.

Did your room open out to the main lobby?

I saw pictures of the view from room 5032 in the WL FAQ thread, and that view is great! Being able to see the MK/monorail from the room is great.

The room was located in the North Wing, so it didn't open up to the main lobby. But the location was very convenient to the lobby.

So glad you had a magical stay! We had a similar view last summer (4th floor, can't remember what #) and it was amazing. And it was a free upgrade from standard, so that made it even more of a surprise!

I just booked a WL woods bunk bed for next month. I hope we get lucky with the view again!

We had 4090, and just outside our door was the sitting area overlooking the lobby with the fireplace! Ahhhhhh
