We had the most WONDERFUL/MAGICAL trip! I LOVE the POLYNESIAN & POFQ! PIXs ADDED!

Thanks for the great review and pics.

Thank you so much for your great photos. What a beautiful family at a beautiful resort. And, yes, there is something wrong with the DIS boards that I haven't seen any of the Powers that Be comment on.

Thanks so much for sharing your great pics! I especially loved the Poly ones. We stayed from 07/16-23rd again this summer and had great rooms in Samoa, 1604-1605. If you go back I would definitely recommend those rooms. You are very close to the GCH and can walk across the grass and right out to the Nanea Volcano pool.

I posted a link to some of our pictures, and on day 5 there are several of the Poly.

Thanks for the pics of POFQ. It is the main mod that I have been interested in. It is really beautiful!

You and your children are beautiful!!

I loved your pictures! :cheer2: Your children are so beautiful! It looks like you had a magical vacation! :flower: When is the next trip planned??

Hi Telly, and welcome back.

Glad you had such a great time. I've never stayed at the Poly, but I've done POFQ once and I loved it! It's hard to describe how peaceful and beautiful this resort is - just a really special feeling place.

I don't think there's a bad location anywhere at FQ. We stayed in Building 1, near the far end, which is probably about as far out as it gets there, and it was still only about a 2 minute walk to the food court or bus stop. No big deal at all, and it's such a relaxing atmosphere I enjoyed every minute I spent walking around there, anyway! We were facing the courtyard, which I would recommend asking for, just because it's so pretty.

Just loved going thru this thread!!

The pictures are gorgeous, the sunset pictures do stand out!! Thank you for sharing! You make posting pictures seem so easy! I cant get enough of your gorgeous pictures!! Just wonderful!!

I do believe that I hate your review of POFQ!! Why? Well because I'm jealous of course!! We had originally planned of FQ, ressies and all, but had to be moved over to Riverside!! Now thanks to the Dis, I'm fine with it dd8 is THRILLED with Riverside from internet views, so I'm fine with it - then I read your awesome report, and PICTURES!! Its like, are you kidding me? I wanna go there!! Luckily we can!! And we will - I will try out the pool, and I will eat binets!!

Thanks so much for sharing!!

Fantasia:

I just loved your pictures. You have an absolutely beautiful family. It looks like you had a great time.

3915 Tokelau is a corner room on the north side of the building. Since it is on the corner, there is no other room to block your view on the side of your balcony, so when you look left you can see the castle. You also have a partial lagoon view. It is still booked at garden view rates, though in my opinion it has a far superior view to many other garden rooms.

There has been a discussion here about adding more room categories to the Polynesian reservation system (i.e. marina/pool view, parking view, etc), but I doubt that will happen anytime soon.

Fantasia....great review and lovely photos! I've never been enticed by the Poly, since Im a confirmed Swan/Dolphin fan. But maybe some day..if the price is right... ;)

I'm dowloading some more pixs right now...

I am glad everybody's enjoying my pixs! Thanks for checking them out.

It is very magical to have a room where you can view CC from your balcony while you're paying the GV rate. I would like to try Fiji next time. I would like to face the beach/GF. I don't know what it is about that location. It is close to the GCH and I feel you're more isolated, away from the traffic and I like that. I feel like I'm in my own little island, feeling secluded. At Tokelau, there's more foot traffic and I really didn't care to face another bldg (Tahiti).
Either Aotearoa facing the monorail (I just have to deal with the little noise at night) or Fiji facing the beach/GF. Those are my choices for our next trip next year.

My pixs are huge! I tried making them small... I think it's how I set the size from my digital camera and I can't seem to resize it now.

More pixs of the POFQ coming up.... Please stay tuned! :)

Glad you and the kids had a great time and the photos are wonderful, especially the sunset one.

I put it on my computer as wallpaper and it looks great. I sent it to some of my friends at the Polynesian and they loved it too.

thanks for sharing these - especially love the neverland club - always wondered what the kids clubs looked like.

so have you gotten your disney fill yet? ;)

Love your pictures, Fantasia! Your children are so cute! Sounds like you had a wonderful trip. I've stayed at the Poly...it's truly a great resort.
I 'm just back from 2 weeks in Hawaii (9 nights in Honolulu, 5 nights in Maui) and your sunset picture reminds me of a few dazzlers I saw there! LOVED it!

We're on our way... guess where? Do you guys notice anything... Look at the place... It's empty!! It's like a ghost town here! And that's what makes this place so peaceful... and quiet most of the time!

MORE PIXS TOO COME!! PLEASE BE PATIENT WITH ME... STAY TUNED!!

I love your photos. I haven't stayed at either one of these resorts yet but Polynesian has always been on my "to do" list and now I am very intrigued (sp.?) by POFQ thanks to your photos. :goodvibes
