Fantasia,

I mentioned this on my "Help, I caught RAD!" post, but I just wanted to tell you again how much I appreciate you posting these pics. It REALLY helps us to decide which resort!!

You and your children are beautiful! :flower:
Thanks! You are very welcome. I am glad I can help and for those who are not so sure about staying at POFQ, I hope this will help them make the decision. And I hope they choose POFQ! :jester: ;)

Telly, thank you so much for sharing your pix and for your wonderful trip report. You have a beautiful family. We stayed at the Poly in May and fell in love with it. It bumped WL from the top spot in my favorites. Your pictures were wonderful, specially the sunset ones...

We stayed at POFQ last year and, though it was beautiful, we stayed during hurricane Jeanne and it kind of dampened our outlook on the resort. My DH says he really doesn't want to stay there again...

You mentioned you wanted to stay in Fiji; here's a picture from our room #3318:

We absolutely loved it. It was a great view, and close to GCH and the pool.

Thanks again for your report!

Thanks for sharing Telly!! Those Poly pics sure make me want to book that Fiji room!! :sunny: :sunny:

Another thank you for the beautiful photos. I have booked a split stay next April/May for 10 days POFQ and 4 days Poly, basically because of seeing all your comments on different threads about these two resorts. I am so excited now about going. You also convinced me that I could manage a split stay. Thank you, thank you! :cloud9:

I am so glad this thread got bumped back up, just so I can look at the pictures! :sunny: My kids are going to love that serpent slide! I can't wait to take my family, including my dad next summer. :goodvibes

Perfect combination! Polynesian and POFQ! I did the Poly first and then moved to POFQ. It wasn't a let down at all. As soon as we got to POFQ... it was a total "theme shock" in a good way of course! From the South Pacific to the Southern Mississippi/Louisiana. Big difference of course in the themeing... and I love of the themeing.

The way I do split stay is not to rush out of the room, we stay up until 11 check out time. We call the bellman and let them know that the bags needs to be transfered to the next resort. They come up to your room within minutes, when he leaves with our bags, we leave too. We would go to the next resort and just have lunch there. We would check in after lunch and lounge around the lobby and walk around the ground, go to the gift shop or have the kids swim. They usually do the transfering between 1-3pm. By the time we're done what we're doing, our room would be ready and so as our bag. We call the bellman and they just bring the bags up to your room.

Or you can just do the park or do DTD up until check in time, head back to the new resort and your bags should be there by 3 or 4.

ctrabada, thanks for sharing the view of the marina from Fiji bldg. Fiji is my next target.

debbiedoo, yep... can't wait to try the Fiji bldg!

Pooh93... You guys will have a blast! I'm glad I bumped this thread too!

Telly, another huge "Thanks!" for the beautiful pictures. You guys are a gorgeous family! We will be staying for our first time at POFQ next month. I really enjoyed seeing your pictures and am even more excited about FQ now. I've been showing my DS and DD all of your pics too and they can't wait! They also think your kids are adorable. Thanks again! :flower:

Just bumping this for Tammi... who is thinking about bumping their room to moderate and considering their stay at POFQ!! Enjoy the pixs!! :)

And for those who are going to POFQ... Enjoy the charming resort!!

And this bump is also for those who might have missed this thread and just want some little infos on both resorts and who wants to see some pixs. :Pinkbounc

I have a few pixs on the luau... but it's just some pixs of the fire twirler! He was AWESOME! Besides the wonderful food, he was pretty much the highlight of the whole luau! The "Spirit of Aloha" was excellent. The service was superb! The food was great! The show was fantastic! We did the 5:15 show. I didn't get a chance to take lots of pix cause I was video taping the show. I hope you get that room! YOu get an excellent view from the balcony, but yet pay the GV price! You guys will have a fabulous time there! :flower:
