Ha ha ha ha... funny you asked. They hated me (I know that word is kind of harsh and deep)!! I have them take so many pix just to get it right or at least close to it!! "Mom, no more picture taking... I'm tired already!" They didn't even want to get in the picture!

I'm glad to hear POFQ had good service. We'll have to consider POFQ! I love the Poly, but we want to try something new this time.

Thanks! I think you will enjoy POFQ!! Just keep in mind that it isn't deluxe. We walked to BC/YC from Epcot. The resort didn't WOW me... I just don't know why. BC is one of the resort that is on my "to do" list. But.. I didn't get a vibe from that resort so now.. I'm not too sure if this resort is still on my "to do list."

It's weird. Just like WL. I love WL, but I am not too sure about AKL. It WOWed me... but just the lobby and the front outside, but as far as the savannah view... I didn't get any vibe .

We normally like deluxe resorts because ds is autistic and we usually spend a lot of time at the hotel. But when we toured POFQ and POR, there seemed like plenty of quiet spots for ds to unwind. Even if the room is smaller, we can just sit outside and relax. I think I may be sold on POFQ then! Thanks for reminding me how great that resort is!

For me and the children it was. If you really want to be close to the food court and the bus stop, then bldg 4 is good. Bldg 3 is not far from the food court either, but be sure you are either staying on the wing that is closer to the lobby/shop.

We like bldg 3 a lot more than bldg 5. Though bldg 5 is closer to the bus stop and food court, it still depends on what wing you are in. I like strolling down the tiny quaint street to bldg 3. I'll see if I can find some more pixs to share with you.

Do you notice that most of the pixs I have taken that there's no body on the ground?? I'll show you what I mean.... well... maybe tomorrow.. I'm sleepy!!

There's plenty of places for your family can relax... there's plenty of benches around the courtyards... again.. I need to post some more pixs so you can see them. It is a truly a very pretty and peaceful place.

I'll be doing a split stay in Dec at POFQ and CS and I requested building 5 at POFQ thinking it would be closer to everything. Should I request another building? I'll have my mom with me and I'm afraid there is no way she could do the walking required down there, so plan on renting her an ECV. Speaking of which, did you happen to see very many people on the boats in ECVs? I'm wondering if it will be a problem. Thanks again for the great trip report.

Telly- I love POFQ! I've stayed there 4x, the last time was in Jan. Love: the atmosphere, so quiet and beautiful, the size of the place, the boat to DTD is fun and of course those beignets! We've had great CMs there too - and you got free beignets!!! I'm jealous! I'd love to see more pics from there... I tried to book POFQ for Oct. and they were booked, so we're trying Pop. I think my kids will like it there, it looks cute!
BTW- Is Pal Mickey feeling better?

Hi! There is nothing wrong with bldg 5. Just request a room that is near the street (I think it's Rue D'Baga) so you will be near the food court and the bus stop. If you are near the river or at the other end of bldg 5, then the walk might be longer. Have you ever been to the All Star or Pop? Think of it that way. I can be in a prefered bldg, but if I am at the wing further away from the main bldg then the walk is longer. The bldgs at these resorts are not perfectly rectagular. Too bad I don't have a map to show you. I have stayed in bldg 5 close to the "main" street and it's a perfect location. We were near the stairs. The bldgs do have elevators and we were closer to the stairs than the elevators so we just use the stairs.

You might want the ground floor level. Its easier and quicker. But I choose to be on the 3rd floor for a better view of the grounds and less foot traffic and no one is above me.

Don't hesitate to ask bldg 5. My preference is just bldg 3.
