We got to wake up Tinkerbell!

Thanks to all who posted about waking up Tinkerbell. We went Sunday, July 18 for extra magic hour and walked quickly to Tinkerbell's Treasures and no one was even in the store so I asked if the kids could wake up Tinkerbell and they said sure. It was really different and the kids loved it. I hadn't told them about it until we got there because I didn't want them to be disappointed. It was wonderful for them. Thanks again.

Wow! How neat!! My DD (5) is a huge Tinkerbelle fan so I'm hoping we can do this in December!

They gave the kids a "magic wand" and they tapped on the box three times and each time said, gettinga little louder each time, "Wake up TInkerbell". And then a light kind of floated across the room and a sound came and they thought they had woken her up.

Very, very cool! My youngest daughter has her hopes set on being the one who gets to wake up 'Tinkerbell. Send some of the Pixie dust our way!!!

Where is Tinkerbell's Treasures located? I can't remember if we visited that store back in May. My 9 year old dd wants to wake up Tinkerbell when we return in February.

Congratulations! My DS, yes son, woke her up in July. It was so sweet! I hope you were able to take a zillion pictures like I did -through teary eyes.
Did you read my trip report for the helpful hints? I would love to know that I may have helped a few others get to wake up Tink.

Sending Pixie Dust to you all - I'm sure it helped us. The one thing that helped us I think was that we went on EE day and everyone was rushing to the rides we just walked quickly to Tinkerbell's Treasures (on the left side when you go through the castle) and it was empty. We took tons of pictures. It was my 2 dds and my 4 year old ds. He was as excited as the girls. We also left surprises everynight from Tinkerbell so waking her up just made it even more special.

Isn't it wonderful?! My two dds did this in January and they still talk about it...that happened to be a very magical day for us at the MK...we were chosen as the family to open the park and after all the excitement we were sure someone would have beaten us to waking up Tink. Like you, I said nothing to avoid any disappointment, but lo and behold...she was still sound asleep! After that, we rode a couple of Fantasyland rides and then checked in for our CRT breakfast (and had extra Pixie Dust when we asked the CM checking us in if we could add on person to our PS since my DH changed his mind and wanted to go...and they said yes!)
