we got a puppy!

We've been waiting to get one, and didn't plan on adopting yesterday, but we found her and she was perfect! We have named her Bailey and she is 11 weeks old. She is golden-white and weighs about 7 pounds. Her tag said she was a chihuahua mix, but she looks more like a beagle/yellow lab combo. She was returned to the humane society after being w/a family for ethree weeks b/c the wife adopted her w/o telling her husband. We were THRILLED to find out that she is housetrained AND she knows the "sit" command! She is amazing, LOVES to give kisses, and is playful and happy! Her only vice is that she is a biter, but we are working on teasing that bad habit out, and will be patient b/c she is teething. Anyway, just wanted to share our happiness! I will post pics soon! (we def. have them already, just need to put them on a site).

I miss her like crazy! I made her first vet appointment for tomorrow at 4:30. I left Animal PLanet on for her to "watch" today but I have school 8:30-4:30, so the poor thing is home alone (DBF works 8-5). I am taking her babysitting tonight with me - I figured the kids (4 & 11) will LOVE her and it'll make her nice and tired for bedtime.

But I am missing her like crazy
