But lost our old Kitty.
I would like to introduce the newest member of the family.
Boomerang. Our 12 year old femaled named Nala got sick last Thursday and when my DW got home she was laying on the entry way floor not moving. She had hypo thirodism and we had been treating her for that. She had lost a lot of weight and that was what triggered us to take her to the vet about a year ago. By the time she got to the vet Thursday she couldn't move and was blind. They kept her overnight and during the night she died. In the end it was an undiagnosed case of diabites that killed her. Her insulin levels were off the charts. My DD was devestated because Nala was her cat. So Saturday DD and DW went to PetsMart where they have pet adoptions every weekend. They spent several hours playing with the kittys and found Boomerang. She is a one year old long hair calico and is very sweet. Now we just need to get our male cat DC to be nice, but overall she is adjusting well.
