You know, I can't decide if Mama Melrose is worth the gamble. I get 50/50 reports all the time from people on this board. I love pasta, but a bad server will ruin the meal for me no matter how great the food may be. I'm feeling ya' with this one.

both got steak kabobs x 2 = $45.98

Desserts: I cannot find prices for the dessert sampler or sundae so this is an estimate
sampler: $7.99
make your own sundae: $4.99

TOTAL: $84.12

this place was "eh" to us. We are not big on medeterranian food, but wanted to try it. the flatbread had some kind of NASTY cheese on it. Bobbys appetizer was just ok, the steak wasn't that great to me, I only tooka couple bites. the best part was making my own sundae! Our server was awful and REAKED of body odor, it was AWFUL. HE came to our table maybe once the whole meal and we were there a long time. we waited for refills 2-3 times, and had to flag down other people. Granted he was VERY nice, unlike the mama melrose server, just maybe very busy? We won't be going back.

I forgot to mention after we ate at spoodles we went to DTD and to goofy's candy company and used 4 snack credits on chocolate dipped rice krispy treats, theyw ere fabulous! so i am just gonna say they were 4 bucks a piece times 4 is $16.00 total.

Friday, Dec. 21st
WHERE: Boma
DDP: out of pocket meal

this was our mini meet day! I was so excited! we met up with some greats friends from the boards for breakfast at Boma. it was really good, and there was so much food to choose from! i had fruit, bacon, a ham and cheese omlet, and some other stuff. the special juice is AMAZING!! i seriously had about 5 glasses of it, it was probably loaded with sugar, but so good! good times were had by all, we stayed a really long time. Our sever was pretty good, I honestly didn't notice too much because I was so busy tlaking and having fun! But the food was good,a tmosphere was good, and we waited about 10 minutes for our table, but we had a large group.

me to! I am such a picky eater! this breakfast had mostly "normal" food. they ahd some odd omlet combos you could get, and i'm sure I missed some stuff b/c I was more concerned about hanging out, but there was a lot of food to choose from. and we were staying at the AKL so we just walked downstairs which was nice!

so after breakfast we went to DTD and used 2 more snack credits on RCT to take home. YUM! we also hung out with cyndi and kevin for a bit.

my last and FAVORITE meal of the trip...

Dec. 21st
WHERE: Narcoossees
DDP: 4 TS credits

this is our favorite place to eat. we eat here the last night of our trip, and I ws so excited to be back! we sat down and were given personalized menus, how nice! we also got free glasses of champagne. I ordered a coke, and Bobby ordered a sprite. and they brought out the heavenly bread that makes a mess at your table, but is SO good!


bobby got crab cakes and I got the shrimp. i dont eat shrimp but i did try a bite, it was ok. so bobby basically had 2 appetizers. he LOVED both of his.

last time bobby got the lobster, but tried my steak too and loved it so he got the surf n turf this time

I of course got the filet. it. is. heavenly.
bobby said the lobster tail was ok, but not as good as the whole lobster, which is what he wll probably get next time.

we enjoyed sitting and chatting with our friends, and it was time for dessert.
almond crusted cheesecake and sorbet. YUMMY

we stayed for a long time and then decided we better go so someone else can come and sit and eat. I was sad that this was our last big meal in disney but it ended on a great note!



so here is the breakdown:
coke and sprite = $2.39 x 2 = $4.78
crab cakes = $12.00
shrimp = $15.00
surf n turf = $58.00
filet = $38.00
cheesecake = $8.00
sorbet = $7.00
TOTAL: $142.78 not including tax, tip, or free champagne.
we are eating here twice in septembet....hehe

the next morning we had 2 snack credits left and got muffins. AND THATS A WRAP! my next entry will be everything totaled up, savings, and final thoughts, so hang in there, its not over!

Just to add my 2 cents in~~~ I enjoyed our meal at Mamma Ms last summer. I ordered the Artisan breads and chicken parm. I would have loved this meal and left a very happy camper, if it hadnt been for 1 huge problem~ My little precious (2 at the time) wasnt in the mood to sit with us while we ate dinner (we couldnt tempt her with ANYTHING, not even ice cream And as we were about 3/4 through our entrees, she starts screaming like her head was on fire, than put her hand down her throat and made herself sick, right there at the table (she did this all within about 10 seconds) I was so embarassed, I picked her up, and ran out of there. Leaving DH and my best friend to have dessert and pay the bill. I was so frustrated, and so embarrassed, after I had her cleaned up, I didnt even go back inside. 30 Mins later, DH and my friend came out with the stroller and a dessert for me, but I had so lost my appetite, I was stressed out for the rest of the night I would like to go back there on my next trip in 2010, but with only 1 day at DHS, and PT50s being an all time fave of mine, its going to be a tough call
