We get our puppy TOMORROW!

We got a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel in June '05. WE absolutely adore him. We just had to put our 14yo Golden Retriver to sleep August 1st, and apparently sometime after that he called the Cavalier breeder to reserve a puppy. We found out at CHristmas.

We would bw able to pick the puppy up after Jan. 25, but he went to the vet and had a slight heart murmur. We would have to wait about three extra weeks, because he wasn't old enough to have the tests done.

The breeder called yesterday, and when she took all the puppies to the vet yesterday for their final checkup, his heart murmur was gone!!!!!!!!!!

So, we are leaving in about an hour to drive 5 hours to Kansas City, speding the night there, and picking him up in the morning.

His name will most likely be Chip:

The brown one is the puppy. He is really sweet. He and our other dog are getting along really well. The puppy's name is Chip, and our other dog is Maxx.
