We FOUND the elusive DoleWhip!!!

The Dole whip float is the only snack that we go back for multiple times on EVERY trip! It's the favorite for all members of my family. Mmm.

I had a Dole Whip Float from Aloha Isle a couple weeks ago when we were there. I had a goal of having one at least once on the trip and on the last day right before we left I made my family trek across MK to Aloha Isle just to have one. They are to die for! I am so glad we walked all the way over there!

All right, this is driving me crazy - I cannot find the #1 on Robo's map. I know it's there somewhere (and I'll probably spot it right after I post this), can someone please ease my pain and point it out to me?

I accidentally pulled off the layer with the "1" on it when I saved that version.

theyre sold at a permanent window on the main walkway into/out from Adventureland, there's usually a decent line, and usually people on both sides of the path chowing down on yellow soft serve and floats. Kinda seems hard to miss for someone who is aware of them and on the lookout. Calling them elusive makes it sound like they are only sold at temporary food carts that rarely gets wheeled out and to random locations.

Seriously though I'm sorry you had such a hard time finding them and that CMs were so unhelpful - I'm just a little befuddled by it.

Kinda thinking the same, lol. Got one on my first trip a few years ago after reading about them on the disboards & had no trouble finding them because the dis is just so full of info and directions. Gotta say it really didn't live up to my expectations tho..........

yes, you can serve yourself vanilla or pineapple, or a mix of both. Very refreshing on a hot day!

I've only been to Captain Cook's at the Poly once but I'm pretty sure I only saw a single station with only Pineapple.

and then add a little shot of coconut rum and you have a...uh...something that could...uh...only happen in your dreams because there's no liquor in MK.

But there is at the Poly, just a short monorail or boat ride away!

Actually if you look at the picture I posted in the first post, it's taken at Captain Cooks and (oops, I cheated) it's a mix. I found that although I like the pineapple, I prefer the swirl. My daughter preferred the vanilla. We had a running disagreement that the vanilla is just a softserve (me) not a true Dolewhip (her.)

You can also tell by that picture that it was my Dolewhip because it's not SKY HIGH the way she served herself. I swear I never knew that kid could eat so much softserve!

Like I said I just glanced at the dispenser and to me it didn't look like a two headed machine.

I guess I was thinking that you can only get a float at the MK and just assumed you could only get Pineapple at the Poly.

Also vanilla is a Dole Whip since Dole Whip (actually they changed the name and its just Dole Soft Serve, they dropped the Whip) is the product not the flavor.

I got the vanilla and pineapple swirl at MK. I only got it because of the hype on the boards, but I didn't know there were so many options. I was afraid I wasn't getting the "right" Dole Whip everyone raves about. It was pretty good, but I agree with the pp that said it didn't live up to expectations. Were trying zebra domes next though, so I hope they live up to the hype.
