And this is when I had the BIG discovery of the cruise, in Sessions you get more than just a glass of wine- you get the nice little tray of 3 tastes which are somewhere in that glass you're drinking, and a scroll which when unravelled explains how you might find them. Kind of like a wine treasure hunt. The BEST way to drink wine EVAAARRRRRR!!!! Just in case you missed it earlier in the report...

Ok, dear - you MUST elaborate on this wine / treasure hunt thing, it sounds so cool! What is this called? I think I've just gotta have one on my trip! I'm a vino lover, too!

Hi! Well, I just ordered a glass of wine, and it came with all this stuff! The wine was Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc, but I am fairly sure I could have ordered any wine there and something like this would have come with it. Each food on the plate was meant to bring out some element of the wine- for example, the blue cheese was meant to bring out the minerality and flintiness sauvignon blanc is known for. Really cool. I just kept on telling the CM how great it was to serve wine this way, and how all wine should always be served this way! It was like going to a wine class...and then the vibe in there (Sessions) is so swanky, really it's very special- I only wish I had gone there on my first night instead of one of my last, because i can tell you, on our next cruise, I'll be starting every evening in there!! If you're a vino lover- you will LOVE this bar!

Love the pics of the loo baby. Don't you just love the Palo bathroom? I think the full doors into each "toilet room" are quite peaceful and private too!

This is maybe why I didn't get to see you so much on the cruise, you were too busy hanging out in the bathrooms taking pictures!

Mainly because I hate to get to the end of the report (although, we did go to WDW for a night after the cruise ended, but whatever...)

We "baked" (I use the term loosely- although I LOVE to cook, I HATE to bake- too many rules- HAH!) cookies for Santa-

Went to the early service at church on Christmas Eve, where DS9 was Joseph in the pageant-(turn the volume waaaayyyy up)

Came home for dinner with Sheree & Henry (I was smart- I catered Italian food from Ferraro's), my cousins who always help us out with DS14-

We put out reindeer food for Santa-

And went to bed. Early on Christmas morning-

Opening presents in nice new Christmas PJ's-

DH surprised me with some DVC BCV points- I cried for 10 minutes (he was teared up, too!)

DS14 ran in and opened his gifts when we were all out of the room! Here he is playing with a favorite in the livingroom-

He was much better behaved when the rest of our family arrived later on Christmas Day-

My cousin,Sheree, is one of 3 girls. She and her DH love to make Christmas ornaments, and each year they give us all something special. This year was most special of all- she replicated an ornament of her mother's for all of us. Her mother was my Aunt Ruthie, and we never met- because Ruthie died at the beginning of November the year I was born at the end of November. The girls were all young- especially Sheree, who was only 9. So you can see why this ornament means so much to all of us. The original is on the right-

Look! It's all the Christmas cookies before they attached themselves to my big post Christmas a**!!!!!

That was my cousin, Patty. She and I shared a bottle of Rosa Regale at the end of the day- yummy yummy, I don't care if DH calls it soda pop, it's the best soda EVARRRRRR!!!

It's a new year- woohoo!!!!

DS11 is starting to look too grown-up-

On Friday night, we had a cousin sleepover after we went to see Bedtime Stories- we all really liked the movie!-

And on Saturday night, we went to lovely Piscataway, NJ, to spend the night at Embassy Suites. This was for DS14- he has developed a fear of sleeping anywhere but home, so we thought we'd try staying a night somewhere that if it didn't work out, he could shoot right home with one of us. After about an hour of coaxing, bribing and using every trick in the book, we got him in-

A great start to the new year- just hope he remembers it CAN be done!!

Nice redone rooms there-

I think Embassy Suites are great for family stays! DS9 thought so, too, he wanted to check it all out-

We have the first Rock Band- the kids LOVE IT- but be careful of those 2 drums on the end, they break off easily. Although, you have Ally, and we have animals, so that could be why. The kids don't like GH World Tour as much- the music is not as good, they say- but we heard you can play RB on it- so far that has not worked out. Sooooooo frustrating!!!

She did well. They used the mask to sedate her BEFORE putting the iv in so little stress for her. Long day though. At hosptial 11:45, home 6PM CT results are clear but nothing else back yet. Hopeing for those later this afternoon. The MRI ALWAYS takes forever to get results....

I went to a conference at this hotel once! The lobby is so beautiful, it actually reminded me of Disney because you don't usually see lobbies so nicely decorated.

My cousin says she got it from a Bronners catalog- they personalized it. It is not the "official" one they sell on the ship, but it is very nice, and we all love it!
