I read so much about park hopping, we must be the only family that have no desire to park hop. We tried park hopping two different trips. Are we the ONLY family that prefer to stay at one park, rope drop to closing? We go non stop, never get bored or ready to go, we just savor the park we are in - we take breaks, people watch, and end up spending an entire day just taking in the one park that day. Wonder why we don't like park hopping? Anyone else?

I don’t like park hopping either. I’ve had park hoppers for several trips and then about 4 years ago I did a trip with a friend and we were trying to save money so we didn’t get hoppers and we loved it. I felt like I wasted a lot of time traveling between parks and i felt like i wasted money if I didn’t visit at least two parks a day if i had hoppers. My trips feel more relaxed when I just visit one park per day.

Yes, the two times we bought hoppers, we felt wasteful if we didn't hop, and we were never ready to leave a park to hop lol.

I do enjoy park hopping. It gives some flexibility if one park is out of control crowded we can hop somewhere else. Also it gives more opportunities just go to Epcot for dinner without having to spend a whole park day there.

However - We haven’t park hoppedour last few trips and I don’t think we will anytime soon. The up charge just seems to be so much more than it used to and I just can’t justify it!

Right, most park hop, I'm always reading about morning at one park, then to another and then dinner at a third. I think most enjoy park hopping, just curious if there's anyone else that just doesn't like it, like me! I haven't checked the upcharge, since it doesn't seem to work for us, but everything is much more expensive, with less in return these days. Regardless, we all love Disney - and I love that people enjoy it in different ways!!

We've never park hopped either. Been going since my oldest was 18 mo. and he's now 27. We had park hopper with the military tickets back in 2018 but we didn't use them. We always picked a park and were there from rope drop to close. I would have liked to use them the last time we were there, I wanted to go over to AK just to ride EE but nobody wanted to leave. We're not picky when it comes to food either so we are always are able to find somewhere we like to eat at.

We rarely hop. Usually only if we have family or friends visiting from out of state and they want us to.

We've done hopper and non-hoppers. There are only two times we felt the hoppers were worth it. The first was a trip we did in December pre-Covid because it let us get a couple of hours rope dropping MK and then switch to another park before MK crowds took over and it was wall-to-wall people. The second was when we had a single day at WDW after a cruise and wanted to split between Epcot and HS so we could check out the new Star Wars land without committing our only Disney day to Hollywood Studios (my least favorite park). The rest of the time I didn't really feel like we got a good value out of it. Yes, we could eat dinner in Epcot every night, but in all honesty there are so many places in other parks or outside the parks where you can get a fantastic meal, so I don't really feel it's that much of a value add. Plus back when the parks all had their own nighttime spectacular, we wouldn't have wanted to be in Epcot every night and miss the other shows.

We park hopped one trip. It just seemed like it took to much time and was a hassle. I do not like dealing with Disney buses any more then I have to. The wait times to get on the bus, traveling to and from the parks, and going through security. It’s just easier to stay in the same park.

I very rarely park hop. If I do it's usually just between DHS and Epcot. I enjoy walking through the Boardwalk area.

So funny, we have been going since our oldest daughter was 5 months old, and she's 27. We too can always find something to eat, and always make time for our faves while at that specific park!

I only ever hop if I am there for less than 4 days, that way I can go to all the parks. Otherwise, I don't see the need to.

Nope. Not alone. When I had an AP I would very occasionally hop, but as others have said, it was very time consuming. And I did not do it enough to justify the cost of adding hopping onto tickets now that I don't have an AP.

We used to always hop. Then one time my sisters family joined us, but needed to do the trip as economically as possible. That was the first time I ever realized how much extra hopping costs us as a family of five. Since then, and that was almost 10 years ago, we got hoppers once and that was a long summer trip, when we knew we’d be leaving midday to beat the heat, and we could switch things up depending on the summer rain.
